The invention relates to etheramines of formula (I) or formula (II) or a mixture of etheramines of formula (I) and formula (II) based on 1,2-dialcohols, wherein R1 is a linear or branched alkyl group with 2 to 16 carbon atoms, R 2 is a hydrogen or an alkyl group with 1 to 16 carbon atoms, x≥1 and y≥1 and the sum of x+y is between 2 and 10, and A 1 , A 2 , A 3 and A 4 are independently selected from the group consisting of linear and/or branched alkylenes having 2 to 18 carbon atoms and wherein Z 1 -Z 4 are independently selected from OH, NH 2 , NHR' or NR'R", wherein at least one of Z 1 -Z 2 and at least one of Z 3 -Z 4 is NH 2 , NH R' or NR'R", wherein R' and R" are independently selected from alkylenes having 2 to 6 carbon atoms. This invention relates to polyetheramines based on 1,3-dialcohols, in particular to an etheramine mixture comprising at least 90% by weight, based on the total weight of the etheramine mixture, of anamine of Formula (I) and/or (II), wherein R 1 -R 12 are independently selected from H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, or arylalkyl, wherein at least one of R 1 -R 6 and at least one of R 7 -R 12 is different from H, wherein A 1 -A 9 are independently selected from linear or branched alkylenes having 2 to 18 carbon atoms, preferably 2-10 carbon atoms, most preferably 2-5 carbon atoms, wherein Z 1 -Z 4 are independently selected from OH or NH 2 , wherein at least one of Z 1 -Z 2 and at least one of Z 3 -Z 4 is NH 2 , and wherein the sum of x+y is in the range of from 2 to 200, wherein x≥1 and y≥1;and x 1 +y 1 is in the range of from 2 to 200, preferably 2-20, most preferaby 2-10, wherein x 1 ≥1 and y 1 ≥1.

This invention relates to an etheramine of formula (I) based on glycerine or trimethylolpropane and its manufacturing process, wherein R = H or ethyl, k = 0 or 1 A represents a linear or branched alkylene group having C 2 -C 18 carbon atoms, A may be the same as or different from one another, at least one A represents a linear or branched C 4 -alkylene group, the sum of x, y and z lies in the range of 3 to 100, x > 1, y > 1 and z > 1, Z = NH2 or OH but at least two Z per molecule are NH2.

This invention relates to salts of etheramines and polymeric acid, in particular on salts of etheramines and polycarboxylic acid and their manufacturing process. It has been found that salts of a hydrophobic etheramine and of a polymeric acid, wherein the hydrophobic etheramine contains at least two propylene oxide units and/or at least two butylene oxide units, is solid at room temperature and forms white, amorphous powders.

The present invention relates to substituted polyetheramines with a low melting point which are obtainable by condensation of at least two N-(hydroxyalkyl)amines to obtain a polyetheramine and subsequent reaction of at least one remaining hydroxy group and/or, if present, at least one secondary amino group of said polyetheramine with ethylene oxide and at least one further alkylene oxide to obtain a substituted polyetheramine. The present invention also relates to the use of such substituted polyetheramines in fields of cosmetic formulations, as crude oil emulsion brakers, in pigment dispersions of ink jets, in electro paintings, or in cementitious compositions as well as methods wherein said substituted polyetheramines are used in said fields.

The present invention relates to water-soluble alkoxylated polyalkyleneimines having an inner block of polyethylene oxide comprising 5 to 18 polyethylene oxide units, a middle block of polyalkylene oxide comprising 1 to 5 polyalkylene oxide units and an outer block of polyethylene oxide comprising 2 to 14 polyethylene oxide units. The middle block is formed from polypropylene oxide units, polybutylene oxide units and/or polypentene oxide units. In addition, the present invention relates to water-soluble alkoxylated polyamines.
