Abstract: Procedimiento para la preparacion de soluciones acuosas de polimeros de acido acrilico, mediante polimerizacion de acido acrilico en modo de operacion de alimentacion con un iniciador por radicales en presencia de hipofosfito en agua como solvente, en el cual (i) se colocan previamente agua y dado el caso acido acrilico en forma acida, no neutralizada, dado el caso uno o varios comonomeros con insaturacion etilenica, dado el caso solucion acuosa de hipofosfito y dado el caso iniciador, (ii) se anaden acido acrilico en forma acida, no neutralizada, dado el caso uno o varios comonomeros con insaturacion etilenica, solucion acuosa de iniciador por radicales y solucion acuosa de hipofosfito, (iii) una vez terminada la adicion de acido acrilico se anade una base a la solucion acuosa, en el que el contenido de comonomero no supera 30 % en peso, referido al contenido total de monomero, caracterizado porque el acido acrilico, la solucion acuosa de iniciador por radicales y la solucion acuosa de hipofosfito son anadidos de modo que la relacion x molar de acido acrilico a hidrogeno [AS]/[P-H] unido al fosforo a lo largo de un intervalo de tiempo, en el cual reacciona por lo menos 75 % del acido acrilico, exhibe un valor x constante dentro de ± 0,5, que esta en el intervalo de 0,8 a 2, porque el promedio temporal de momento de dosificacion de la solucion de hipofosfito **(Ver fórmula)** es de 0,3 a 0,47 veces el tiempo total de adicion de acido acrilico (t1-t1,0), y porque el promedio temporal de momento de dosificacion de la solucion de hipofosfito es 0,3 - 0,45 veces la totalidad de tiempo de transcurso de la solucion de hipofosfito.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing aqueous solutions of acrylic acid polymers by polymerizing acrylic acid in feed mode with a radical starter in the presence of hypophosphite in water as a solvent, wherein (i) water and optionally acrylic acid in acidic, non-neutralized form, optionally one or more ethylenically unsaturated comonomers, optionally aqueous hypophosphite solution, and optionally initiator are introduced, (ii) acrylic acid in acidic, non-neutralized form, optionally one or more ethylenically unsaturated comonomers, aqueous radical starter solution, and aqueous hypophosphite solution are added, (iii) after the end of the acrylic acid feed, a base is added to the aqueous solution, wherein the comonomer content does not exceed 30 wt% with respect to the total monomer content, characterized in that the acrylic acid, the aqueous radical starter solution, and the aqueous hypophosphite solution are added in such a way that, over a time period in which at least 75% of the acrylic acid is converted, the molar ratio x of acrylic acid to phosphorus-bonded hydrogen [AA]/[P-H] has a value x that is constant to ±0.5 and that lies in the range of 0.8 to 2.

Abstract: Procedimiento para la elaboración de polímeros hidrosolubles de ésteres a partir de ácidos carboxílicos etilénicamente insaturados y polialquilenglicoles mediante esterificación azeotrópica en presencia de disolventes orgánicos, que forman un azeótropo con agua, de ácidos carboxílicos etilénicamente insaturados con polialquilenglicoles, sellados por un extremo por un grupo terminal, hasta al menos el 85% en peso, y posterior polimerización radical de los ésteres así obtenidos, si fuera necesario, junto con otros monómeros etilénicamente insaturados en medio acuoso, caracterizado porque los disolventes orgánicos separan de la mezcla de reacción por destilación azeotrópica durante la polimerización y se recicla el agua extraída por destilación o se sustituye la cantidad de agua destilada en la mezcla de reacción por una alimentación de agua fresca.
