Abstract: The present invention relates to aqueous binder compositions comprising an aqueous polymer latex of a film forming carboxylated polymer and a branched polyetheramine polyol dissolved in the aqueous phase of the aqueous polymer latex, wherein essentially all of the amino groups in the branched polyetheramine polyol are tertiary amine groups. The present invention also relates to water-borne coating compositions containing such an aqueous binder composition.
