The invention further relates to agricultural or veterinary compositions comprising such compounds, to the use of the compounds for combating invertebrate pests, and to methods of combating invertebrate pests, which comprises applying such compounds.

The present invention relates to the use of substituted 3-pyridyl heterobicyclic compounds of formula I as agrochemical pesticides. Furthermore, the present invention relates to novel substituted 3-pyridylheterobicyclic compounds of formula I* as well as to processes and intermediates for preparing them, and also to active compound combinations comprising them, to compositions comprising them, and to their use for protecting growing plants from attack or infestation by invertebrate pests. Furthermore, the invention relates to methods of applying the compounds of I, or I*. The present invention also relates to seed comprising such compounds.

The present invention relates to thiophene- or furan-substituted isothiazoline compounds of formula I wherein the variables are as defined in the claims and description. The compounds are useful for combating or controlling invertebrate pests, in particular arthropod pests and nematodes. The invention also relates to a method for controlling invertebrate pests by using these compounds and to plant propagation material and to an agricultural and a veterinary composition comprising said compounds.
