    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing polyetherol which is economical and forms a product having a low content of low-molecular weight byproduct.
    SOLUTION: The method for producing at least one kind of polyetherols comprises at least the following processes of (1) reacting at least one kind of alkylene oxide with at least one initiator compound in the presence of at least one kind of double metal cyanide compound to give a polyetherol and (2) treating the polyetherol obtained by the process (1) with steam or an inert gas and steam, wherein a pH during treatment of the process (2) is lower than 10 and is 5.0 or higher, the process (2) is performed within 12 hours after the process (1), the treatment of the process (2) is performed by using a bubble tower and the method for producing polyetherol is performed according to a batch type method.
