Abstract: The invention relates to a catalytically active body for the synthesis of dimethyl ether from synthesis gas. Abstract: A highly active water gas shift catalyst, preparation process and use thereof are provided. The catalyst comprises at least one noble metal in an amount of from 0.001 to 1.10% by weight, based on the total weight of the catalyst, at least one alkali metal and/or alkaline earth metal and at least one dopant selected from the group of Fe, Cr, Cu, Zn and mixtures thereof on a support material. The catalyst can be used to convert carbon monoxide and water into carbon dioxide and hydrogen in a wide temperature range.

Abstract: Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Acrylsäure aus Ethanol und Formaldehyd, bei dem man in einer Reaktionszone A das Ethanol in einer heterogen katalysierten Gasphasenreaktion zu Essigsäure partialoxidiert, mit dem dabei erhaltenen Produktgasgemisch A und einer Formaldehydquelle ein Essigsäure und Formaldehyd enthaltendes Reaktionsgaseingangsgemisch B erzeugt, das die Essigsäure gegenüber dem Formaldehyd im Überschuss aufweist, und das im Reaktionsgaseingangsgemisch B enthaltene Formaldehyd mit im Reaktionsgaseingangsgemisch B enthaltener Essigsäure in einer Reaktionszone B heterogen katalysiert zu Acrylsäure aldolkondensiert und aus dem dabei erhaltenen Produktgasgemisch B neben dem Zielprodukt Acrylsäure in selbigem noch enthaltene nicht umgesetzte Essigsäure abtrennt und die abgetrennte Essigsäure in die Erzeugung des Reaktionsgaseingangsgemischs B rückführt.
