    Abstract: Material de lignocelulosa que contiene, distribuido en el material de lignocelulosa, un compuesto de nitrógeno capaz de entrelazarse, el cual es formalmente un producto de adición de formaldehído en forma entrelazada en una fracción de cantidad (N) de al menos 1% en peso, calculada como nitrógeno y referida al peso total del material de lignocelulosas, donde el cociente (FA/N) de emisión de formaldehído (FA), determinado mediante el método de botellas de conformidad con EN 717 parte 3, y la fracción de cantidad del compuesto de nitrógeno (N) tiene un valor de máximo 3,5 x 10-3 y el cual tiene un grado de fijación del compuesto de nitrógeno, determinado de conformidad con DIN EN 84, de más de 73%.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing modified lignocellulosic materials. Said method consists of the following steps a) the lignocellulosic material is impregnated with an aqueous composition which contains i) at least one cross-linkable nitrogen compound and ii) at least one substance which catalyses the cross-linking, b) the impregnated lignocellulosic materials are treated at higher temperatures in order to remove the water and to cross-link the cross-linkable nitrogen compound. In step b) the impregnated lignocellulosic material is treated with overheated steam. The invention also relates to lignocellulosic materials which are obtained according to said method.
