    Abstract: An adapter (100, 200) for interconnecting in fluid communication a first connection site (27) and a beneficial agent container having a closure. The adapter includes a plate having first and second connection site sides (104). A wall (110) extends from the plate (108) from the second connection site side and is constructed to surround only the closure. This allows containers having varying sized bodies to be received.
