    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform a repair or the like without removing a roof trim by laying a bladder-shaped member either between a soft foaming substance and a roof panel or a roof trim or both between them so as to lower the roof trim by expanding the bladder-shaped member. CONSTITUTION:To install a roof trim 3 a bladder-shaped member 10 is sandwiched above the roof trim 3 and below a soft foaming substance 4 to bond them or the soft foaming substance 4, the bladder-shaped member 10 and a roof panel 1 are so piled up that they may be piled-up in the described order from the bottom above the roof time 3, to be bonded. Then, after sealing the bladder-shaped member 10 by discharging air inside the bladder-shaped member 10 from an air entrance part 13 to make it stuck in flat, its periphery is fastened by a welt roof garnish or the like. On the other hand in the case of shifting of the roof trim 3 for the repair of the cable etc. of a room lamp, the roof trim 3 is lowered by expanding the bladder-shaped member 10 by charging air again into inside of the bladder-shaped member 10. Hereby, the work is performed without removing the roof trim 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the property of water stopping by putting into a close- contact with the attaching part of a water stopping region or the like by forming a layer consisting of a rubber and asphalt on a polyurethane foam sheet. CONSTITUTION:Formed is two layers consisting of rubber and asphalt on at least one surface of a polyurethane foam sheet, preferably, a polyurethane foam sheet 1 impregnated with an asphalt. In the case wherein the sheet is for example adhered to the water stopping surface, the density is excellent, and even in the case wherein the urethane foam sheet is used in the condition of being pressed weakly, the occurrence of water leakage never happens from the boundary of urethane foam sheet and the water stopping surface. And, since it is adhered easily to the attaching surface by the adhesive strength, the workability is good, and it may be suitably employed for a water stopping material, sound insulating material and the like.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To assure easy removal of a roof trim from a roof panel by providing soft foam members separately on opposite sides of a plate member, and impregnating an adhesive into the soft foam member on the side of the plate member adjacent to the roof panel and not into the one on the side adjacent to the roof trim. CONSTITUTION:A laminated member 18 which is interposed in a space 17 between a roof panel 10 and a roof trim 14 is composed of a plate member 19 and soft foam members 20, 21 provided separately from each other on opposite sides of the plate member 19 in the cross direction thereof. The upper soft foam member 20 is impregnated with an adhesive, but the lower soft foam member 21 is not. After the soft foam member 20 is attached to the roof panel 10, the roof trim 14 is pressed upwardly against the lower soft foam member 21, with the edge portions thereof firmly secured to the body. As the result, the upper foam member 20 is adhered to the roof panel 10, but the roof trim is just firmly joined with the roof panel 10, permitting easy removal therefrom.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve water stop performance and to enable reproduction of a stop valve, in an elastic foam sealing material to be employed for filling gaps between structural members, by providing a water-proof non-woven fabric layer onto one or both faces of the elastic foam body. CONSTITUTION:A water-proof non-woven fabric layer 2 is provided onto one or both faces of an elastic foam body 1. Furthermore, adhesive layers 3A, 3B and an unmold paper 4 are provided. The unwoven fabric layer 2 is composed of fibers having low water adsorption such as nylon, polyester, acryl, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, polyethylene, and the like. The non-woven fabric layer 2 has water-proof performance better than 50mmAg and composed of fine fibers having diameter smaller than 10mum. By such composition, water-proof performance is improved and a stop valve can be reproduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled foam having excellent physical properties and suitable as a sealing material and sound-proofing vibration-damping material, by introducing a foaming raw material for polyurethane foam into a stirring and mixing chamber of a foaming machine, supplying molten hot asphalt thereto and foaming the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A foaming raw material containing (A) a polyoxyalkylene polyol and (B) an organic isocyanate as single component or as a prepolymer and, if necessary, (C) a foaming agent, (D) a catalyst, etc., is introduced into a stirring and mixing chamber of a foaming machine. Simultaneous to the above, (E) preferably 80-120pts.wt. (based on 100pts.wt. of the component A) of molten hot asphalt is supplied to the stirring and mixing chamber and the obtained mixture is extruded and foamed to obtain the objective foam. The asphalt E is preferably the one having a penetration of >=60 and the temperature of the asphalt supplied to the stirring and mixing chamber is preferably 100-120 deg.C.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To manufacture a desired product with high thickness accuracy and uniform density or density, which is different locally, by a method wherein a bound polyurethane foam chip having a thickness larger than that of a final product is shaped and, after that, formed by hot-pressing into the final product. CONSTITUTION:Polyurethane foam chips and urethane prepolymer as binder are mixed with each other and compressed in a mold, in which heating steam is blown so as to react and harden the urethane prepolymer in order to shape a bound polyurethane foam chip, which is the main stock shaped in proportion to the shape of a final product or shaped so as to have a thickness larger than that of the final product. Next, after the second bound polyurethane foam chip or another stock is laminated to said bound chip, said bound chip is formed by hot pressing. Thus, a compression molded item having complicated shape with homogeneous degree of compaction (density) or compression product with locally different degree of compaction is obtained in accordance with the shape of a hot pressing mold. Further, general urethane foam sheet, felt sheet, plain cloth, synthetic resin sheet, rubber sheet and the like are exampled as other stocks.
