    Abstract: Provided is a run-flat tire which has an excellent run-flat performance and at the same time excels in high-speed straight running stability in the non-punctured state, a steering stability on both of a dry road surface and a wet road surface and a fuel efficient performance. A run-flat tire is provided wherein at least two crossing belt layers which are composed of rubberized steel cords and a tread rubber are disposed in the mentioned order, and wherein a reinforcing rubber is provided in the inside portion of carcass. The steel cords have a single-twisted structure or a core/single layer sheath structure with 6 to 10 steel wires having a wire diameter of 0.10 to 0.20 mm, the end count of the steel cords is not smaller than 40 cords/50 mm, the distance between the adjacent steel cords in the belt layer is not smaller than 0.3 mm, and the dynamic storage modulus E' (MPa) at a temperature of 30°C and the loss tangent tan ´ at a temperature of 60°C of the tread rubber respectively satisfy the relationships represented by the following formulae: 5.0 ‰¤ E' and 0.50 ‰¤ tan ´ 0.240.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make effective base isolation and vibratory suppression of horizontal and vertical vibrations by installing consolidatedly a horizontal tremor absorbing part to absorb horizontal tremors, a vertical vibration absorbing part to absorb vertical tremors, a restraining member for deformation in the vertical and horizontal directions, and a vertical vibration damping member. CONSTITUTION:A tapered portion 12a of a steel rod is formed from a restraining member 12 for deformation in the vertical and horizontal directions. A clearance 14 is provided between an upper flange 8 of a horizontal vibration absorbing part 5 situated under and a taper hole 13 penetrating a lower flange 10 of a vertical vibration absorbing part 6. Horizontal deformations exceeding this size are restrained by the clearance 14. Horizontal vibrations are mostly absorbed by the absorbing part 5 situated under. The vertical vibration of the ground is absorbed by the absorbing part 6 to the extent of the clearance 14. The resonance of the absorbing part 6 for the vertical vibration is damped by a damping member 15. Thereby base isolation and vibratory suppression of the structure can be made effectively using a device in which the prevention of seismic tremors and environment vibrations is incorporated consolidatedly.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain vibration resistant rubber capable of coping with share deformations in the diagonal direction to a satisfactory extent by alternately laminating radially bored metal plates with rubber, changing the distance from the center for every plate and integrally molding them in such a way that rubber holes are continuously formed. CONSTITUTION:Vibration resistant rubber 1, which are interposed between a foundation and a building, are alternately laminated with metal plates 2 which vary with a distance from the center for every plate and have radially bored holes 2a and rubber 3 in such a way that the rubber 3 is formed continuously and integrally through the holes 2a. In addition, the holes 2a at the corners formed in the shape of smoothly curved surface, thereby preventing the concentration of stress in the corners and protecting the rubber from rapture. This compensates the bonding between the metal plates 2 and the rubber 3 at their interface. This construction makes it possible to obtain vibration resistant rubber capable of coping with rolling during earthquake to a satisfactory extent.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To utilize the supporting capacity of laminated rubber by enlarging the pressure receiving capacity of a rubber pad. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a supporting member 7 with a bottomed cylindrical part 12 and a lower flange part 13 clamped to the top of laminated rubber 6, a mounting member 9 with a cylindrical part 15 fitting the bottomed cylindrical part 12 in the inner circumferential side free of vertical movements and an upper flange part 16, and a ring rubber pad 10 installed after fitting the cylindrical part 15 in the inner circumferential side in space between the upper flange part 16 and the lower flange part 13, respectively. In this rubber pad 10, there is no interference at a time when the outer diameter is expanded, whereby the outer diameter is made largely settable in an easy manner.
