Abstract:
A base for a photosensitive drum composed of a resin composition attached to a high-speed image forming apparatus has a structure in which a gear is attached to one end of the base body through a flange part of 0.1 to 5 mm in thickness. The base is integrally molded by injection molding, and therefore the gear is not deformed when released from the mold. As a result, a photosensitive drum produced from the base has a good rotation precision and a good drive transmission and enables formation of high-quality image.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a multi-color injection molded disc-shaped ink tank valve for an ink jet printer, said valve comprising a plastics substrate in form of a ring-like outer portion (1) and an elastic material layer in form of a disc-like inner portion (2) that are integrally composited, wherein the thickness of the elastic inner portion (2) is less than the diameter of the ink tank valve and less than the thickness of the outer ring-like portion (1). The ink tank valve is shaped thus that the length in height direction is smaller than that in planar direction.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing optical-use plastic products such as various kinds of lenses including a magnifying lens, finder spectacle lens, contact lens, condenser lens; infrared ray projector, radiation thermometer, interferometer, scanner, etc. The method of manufacturing optical-use plastic products comprises a step A for injecting a melted resin into a mold cavity to produce a primary molding: and a step B for injecting a same resin as in the step A to a part or whole of the primary molding to form a molding in which the injected resin is melt-welded to the primary molding.
Abstract:
An electrically conductive thermoplastic resin composition to which an electrically conductive agent is added, characterized in that a base resin for the resin composition contains a polyester resin. A resinous base-body for a photosensitive drum made of the above-mentioned electrically conductive resin composition and used in electrostatic recording processes including electro-photographic processes and the like. A photosensitive drum which is made up of the above-mentioned base-body and a photosensitive layer formed thereon. An electrically conductive resin composition which keeps a higher dimensional stability particularly under conditions of high temperature and high humidity without degrading mechanical strength, workability, etc., a base-body for a photosensitive drum using the resin composition, and a photosensitive drum using the base-body become obtainable.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are a mixed resin compound, a resin pipe, a process for producing said resin pipe, and a photosensitive drum. The resin compound meets at least one of the following requirements. It is a mixture of two or more kinds of resins blended in a specific manner, it undergoes annealing under specific conditions, and it has specific values of surface roughness, Vickers hardness, coefficient of linear expansion, flexural modulus, and thermal conductivity. The resin pipe is suitable for use as the cylindrical base of the photosensitive drum for electrophotographic machines, such as copying machines, facsimiles, and printers. It is superior in surface smoothness, dimensional stability, coatability, and handlability, and hence it is very little vulnerable to damage during handling and dimensional change due to resin shrinkage and is superior in heat resistance (desirable for solvent removal) and mechanical strength (desirable for flange fitting).

Abstract:
The invention relates to a plastic wheel comprising two or more components connected to each other. The wheel sections are moulded separately e.g. by injection moulding fibre reinforced thermoplastic pellets. Each connected area has a moulded thread, allowing the components to be screwed into each other. Joints are finally secured by bonding, welding or mechanical means. USE/ADVANTAGE - The plastic wheel can replace steel automotive wheels, has improved dimensional accuracy, good properties, is light and can be mass produced.
