    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of vulcanization control by continuously detecting the boundary temperature between a mold and a type and the boundary temperature of the inside of type or bladder being in directly contact with the heating medium inside the type, from the vulcanization beginning to its finishing at the time of a type vulcanization. CONSTITUTION:For the boundary temperature of the shoulder 5a of a type 5, the boundary temperature between a mold and a tyre is continuously detected from vulcanization beginning to its finishing by fitting the mold temperature sensor 19 detecting mold surface temperature to the mold surface 6b, and on the other hand, the boundary temperature between a bladder and the heating medium on an inner pressure side is also detected similarly by the equivalent temperature measuring sensor 21 fitted in the adjacent of a center post. These boundary temperatures are respectively inputted in a control unit 3 as a signal C1 and C2. The distribution of the vulcanization degree is calculated from the data of the temperature distribution in each position, and the minimum vulcanization value in each position is calculated. This minimum vulcanization value changes with time elaspe and shows the true minimum value. The position of the most delayed vulcanization point is moved by the hysteresis of the boundary temperature, and the vulcanization condition is judged only at its specified point, thereby making no mistake.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To largely improve the efficiency of a cooling work of a pneumatic tire by engaging an extensible/contractible water cooler with the inner face of the tire immediately after it is vulcanized and cooling it. CONSTITUTION:A pair of ribs 4, 10 are brought closer to each other, respectively engaged with both beads B, B of a pneumatic tire 12 immediately after it is vulcanized, and a sealed space 13 is formed with the tire 12 and the rims 4, 10. In this case, bladders 21, 31 are contracted, and disposed in the space 13. Then, cooling water W is supplied into the space 13. The bladders 21, 31 are pressed by the water, expanded, and brought into contact with the inner face of the tire 12. The tire 12 is cooled with a large quantity of the water on the whole inner face to be cooled with high efficiency.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To measure accurately the internal temperature of a tire as well as to control exactly a tire vulcanization, by estimating said temperature from the temperature measured in the boundary between a mold unit and the tire and that measured in the center post assembly of a bladder unit. CONSTITUTION:A first temperature at least at one point in or near the boundary between a mold unit 7 and the tire is measured by means of first temperature sensors 4a-4c, during a tire vulcanization. A second temperature at the center bladder unit 8 is measured by means of second temperature sensors 5a during the tire vulcanization. The internal temperature distribution is calculated from the first and second temperatures and the distribution of degree of vulcanization on the inside of the tire is estimated. From said distribution, the minimum degree of vulcanization is detected, and according to it the timing to stop the heat supply form a vulcanizer is determined. In this way, the internal temperature of the tire can be accurately determined. Thus, it is possible to estimate very accurately the vulcanizing state in the tire and vulcanize the tire in the best condition.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To sufficiently preheat a green tire without extending current working hours by utilizing a stock rack to stock tentatively a green tire before vulcanization and preheating the tire. CONSTITUTION:A green tire 1 molded in the molding process is hung on a hook 3 of a hook conveyor 2 and transferred to the vulcanizing process. A stock rack 5 is correspondingly provided on respective vulcanizer 4 for stocking tentatively a green tire 1. The tire is preheated simultaneously at the time of stocking. Channel-shaped infrared rays heaters 24 are provided at the given distance around a transfer line of said green tire 1 for the purpose. The infrared rays heaters 24 are provided from the top to the bottom, and eight infrared rays heaters 24 for each stage are provided in the cylindrical shape in a manner to encircle the green tire 1 being transferred. A contact type temperature sensor 25 is installed on a position where a tread section of the green tire 1 immediately after passing through the infrared rays heater 24 on the bottom stage, and the temperature of the green tire 1 can be risen up to the required value with good efficiency.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant viscosity-maintaining agent for natural rubber which not only exhibits an effect great and stable for a long period of time, but also is available at a low cost, a natural rubber composition compounded with constant viscosity containing the constant viscosity-maintaining agent, and a method for suppressing the increase of the viscosity of natural rubber using the same, by utilizing carbon black and/or silica. SOLUTION: This constant viscosity-maintaining agent for natural rubber may further comprise one or more of a plasticizer, a processing aid, a softener and a dispersant, in addition to the essential component. The carbon black as a constant viscosity-maintaining agent is added, for example, when a natural rubber latex or the like is processed to produce a masterbatch of natural rubber, and thus is clearly distinguished from that as a reinforcing filler as used conventionally with respect to the place, the time and the like wherein it is used. The constant viscosity- maintaining agent is compounded in an amount of 5 to 80 pts.wt. in total, relative to 100 pts.wt. of natural rubber. Carbon black, silica and/or the like is added to a natural rubber latex and the like and compounded to produce a composition in a process for making a masterbatch.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of cooling operation and at the same time the falling of waterdrop is brought to nil by a method wherein cooling water is jetted from injection nozzles against the inner surface of a pneumatic tire. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of a pneumatic tire just after the vulcanization is high. During the approach of a lower rim 10 up to an upper rim 4, the lower rim 10 engages with one of toes of bead B of the tire 12 and the upper rim 4 engages with the other toe of bead B. Compressed air is supplied to injection nozzles 17 by opening valves 22 and 27 and at the same time cooling water, the pressure of which is lower than that of the compressed air, is supplied through a cooling water piping 26 to the injection nozzles 17. The cooling water jetted to the inner surface of the tire 12 evaporates by obtaining the latent heat of evaporation from the tire 12, resulting in highly efficiently cooling the tire. Since the total amount of jetted cooling water is limited to the amount, which fully evaporates before the finish of cooling, no cooling water in the form of liquid remains at all in the tire 12, when the tire 12 is carried out of a postcure inflator.
