Abstract: PURPOSE:To coat automatically and enhance productivity and quality of products by controlling automatically sending-in of green tires to the coating position, relative positions of green tires and inner and outer face coating nozzles and conveying of green tires to a truck on the sending-out side, on the basis of tire information. CONSTITUTION:A central controlling device 7 sends signals to a positioning device 13 controlling relative positions of green tire 1 and nozzles 10 and 11 on the basis of tire information to adjust the relative positions of said green tire and nozzles. After setting up the position, the central controlling device 7 sends signals to a coating device 9, jets releasant out of the nozzles 10 and 11 while rotating the green tire 1 and applies releasant of fixed quantity to the fixed positions of inner and outer surfaces of green tire. When coating is finished, the central control device 7 sends signals to a conveying device 14, transfers the coated green tire 1 from the coating position to a truck 15 on the sending-out side and piles the same up with its side upward. When a fixed number of green tires 1 are loaded on the truck 15, the central control device 7 sends signals to the truck 15 to transfer the truck to a vulcanizing equipment.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To carry out checking on the bladder bank effectively by detecting the density of gas supplied into and exhausted out of the bladder of vulcanizer and measuring the density of exhaust gas under vulcanization. CONSTITUTION:The tyre to be vulcanized is put into the vulcanizer 1 and, after the cover of vulcanizer is closed, the inert gas is supplied into the bladder 2 to swell the bladder. When the inert gas is exhausted after vulcanization, the theoritical level signs to show the opening of valve 7 and the opening and closing of the cover of vulcanizer are given to the gate 19 to drive the by-pass change-over circuit 20. On the other hand, the output signals of the oxygen density sensor 11 are issued always to the sensor detection circuit 15, and compared always with the reference value, giving warning to the operator whenever the density of oxygen in the inert gas exhausted out of the bladder 2 goes up over the standard level.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To measure accurately the internal temperature of a tire as well as to control exactly a tire vulcanization, by estimating said temperature from the temperature measured in the boundary between a mold unit and the tire and that measured in the center post assembly of a bladder unit. CONSTITUTION:A first temperature at least at one point in or near the boundary between a mold unit 7 and the tire is measured by means of first temperature sensors 4a-4c, during a tire vulcanization. A second temperature at the center bladder unit 8 is measured by means of second temperature sensors 5a during the tire vulcanization. The internal temperature distribution is calculated from the first and second temperatures and the distribution of degree of vulcanization on the inside of the tire is estimated. From said distribution, the minimum degree of vulcanization is detected, and according to it the timing to stop the heat supply form a vulcanizer is determined. In this way, the internal temperature of the tire can be accurately determined. Thus, it is possible to estimate very accurately the vulcanizing state in the tire and vulcanize the tire in the best condition.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent rejected products from developing by a method wherein the expansion pressure of rubber stroke is detected in order to automatically set the upper limit value of an allowable expansion pressure range on the basis of the detected expansion pressure and to control the gap between the joining areas of a mold so as to put the expansion pressure within the allowable expan sion range. CONSTITUTION:After the predetermined time T1 since the start of vulcanization, the upper limit value Pmax of an allowable expansion pressure range of rubber stock is set. When the output of an A/D converter reaches the upper limit value Pmax set at a pressure setting circuit 19 after the predetermined time T1, the output of an AND circuit becomes high in level or issues a press-opening signal and consequently a motor 14 is driven in order to open the joining areas of an upper mold 12 and of a lower mold 13 so as to relieve the expansion pressure. Accordingly, the rubber stock filled in a vulcanizer 11 can be vulcan ized under the expansion pressure within the allowable expansion pressure range.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the production efficiency and to reduce the scattering in products by a method wherein the starting time of the molding of a green tire is calculated by the signal, which is sent from a tire vulcanizer to a controlling device when a green tire in the tire vulcanizer reaches the predetermined vulcanizing stage, and the molding is started. CONSTITUTION:When the vulcanizing operation of a vulcanizer is finished at the time T0, a vulcanized large size tire is carried out of said vulcanizer and, in turn, a large size green tire N1 molded in a molder is carried in the vulcanizer so as to start the vulcanization of the time N1 at the time T1 and the starting signal is sent to a controlling device. And, the controlling device calculates the starting time of the molding of a green tire N2 so as to send calculated results in sequence of time to molds remaining on standby from the controlling device. Accordingly, a plurality of vulcanizers can be actuated with high efficiency. In addition, since the temperature of a green tire at the start of vulcanization is constant, the scattering in qualities can be made smaller.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To decide the optimum tire vulcanizing time precisely, and to shorten the vulcanizing time and improve the quality and performance of a tire by estimating temperatures at one or more of positions in the tire from the temperatures of a vulcanizing mold and the inside of a bladder at every short time of vulcanization during the vulcanization of the tire and arithmetically operating the minimum degree of vulcanization. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a platen section 12 is supplied with a pressure heating fluid 10 at all times, the inside of a bladder 7 is fed with a heating pressure fluid 8 at high pressure, and a tire 5 is heated from the platen section 12 side while being pressed to the vulcanizing mold 6 side and heated by the pressure heating fluid 8 in the bladder 7. The measurement of the time and the measurement of applied pressure in the bladder 7 are started from the start time of the pressure heating of the tire 5, and control by a time mode by a control unit 3 is commenced. Temperature distribution and the distribution of the degree of vulcanization in the gage direction of the tire 5 are computed at one or more of positions in the tire from temperature in the vulcanizing mold 6 and the bladder 7 at every short time of vulcanization, thus arithmetically operating the minimum degree of vulcanization in the tire 5.
