Abstract: The invention intends to provide a display control apparatus which can perform the flickerless display at a high precision without changing a construction of the electrodes or the like of a display apparatus even when a display speed in the high precision display of a liquid crystal display apparatus is insufficient for the flickerless display in the non-interlace drawing. The display control aparatus 50 has a VRAM and a partial rewrite display control section. Since a WS (host computer) 1 prevents a flicker of the display in the animation image display, for an object which is drawn at a high speed, when image data stored in the VRAM is partially rewritten by the non-interlace, the partial rewrite display control section adds data indicative of the display position of the portion rewritten by the WS 1 to the image data and sync signal of such a rewritten portion and, after that, supplies the image data to a liquid crystal display apparatus 3 at the timing synchronized with the display to the CRT.

Abstract: A display control apparatus is composed of a frame memory for storing video data on the CRT image signals at least for one frame portion; storage means for comparing the video data stored in the frame memory and the displaying pixel data at the same image position in the video data in the next frame to discriminate any changes in the displaying contents per pixel, thereby to store the address information of the pixels changed per pixel or per scanning line; and transfer means for reading displaying pixel data from the frame memory per pixel or per scanning line on the basis of the address information to transfer the data to a display driving unit of the liquid crystal display device. With this display control apparatus, a highly precise flickerless image display is implemented without any dispersion in it using a liquid crystal display device on the basis of CRT image signals.

Abstract: A display apparatus includes: a display unit for displaying images, a backlight unit disposed behind the display unit for illuminating the display unit, an inverter unit for electrically controlling the backlight unit, a controller unit for controlling the inverter unit and the display unit, and a power supply unit having an exothermic heat distribution for supplying electricity to the inverter unit and the controller unit. The inverter unit and controller unit are disposed behind the backlight unit. The power supply unit is disposed on a side of the display unit, backlight unit, inverter unit and controller unit. The display unit, backlight unit, inverter unit, controller unit and power supply unit are disposed in a common housing. The inverter unit and said controller unit are arranged behind the backlight unit. An insulating member is further disposed between the power supply unit and the display unit at a position corresponding to a region of relatively large exothermic heat of the power supply unit so that the insulating member is disposed at a diagonal position with respect to the inverter unit. The display apparatus may be supported by a support structure including vertically tilting and laterally turning mechanisms.
