Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system, an image pickup device, and an image data storage method that can obtain a color image as a result without the need for a large scale circuit and high-speed and complicated processing. SOLUTION: When switching to an image pickup device mode is detected (step S102), raw data picked up by a camera module 206 are acquired (step S103), black/white gradation data are generated to be displayed on a display section 205 (step S104), and the display section 205 applies through-display to the display section 205 (step S105). When a shutter key F0 is operated (step S106), and an image memory 212 stores the raw data and the black/white gradation data at that point of time in cross-reference with each other (step S107).

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the life of the battery of a positioning instrument, and to miniaturize the instrument. SOLUTION: The positioning instrument 1 is provided with a radio data transmission and reception part 26 which permits data communication by radio separately from a GPS part 12 which measures the current position according to a radio wave received from a GPS satellite. The radio data transmission and reception part 26 receives the latest ephemeris from another position measuring instrument or a base station device periodically or as required and measures the position by the GPS part 12 in a short time by using it. Further, timing data showing the timing of the reception from the satellite is received together with the ephemeris and the timing of reception at the time of the measurement is synchronized with the timing of the data transmission by the satellite according to the received timing data to make the measurement time shorter. Further, the radio data transmission and reception part 26 receives measurement data on another positioning instrument of the same kind by which a user has the same behavior to perform positioning of lower power consumption using received data as its own measurement data.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a time piece and a time correction method capable of always maintaining highly accurate time. SOLUTION: A measurement processing is initiated upon receiving the wave of GPS satellites. When time data is received, after waiting for time, whether or not the difference of time between the time to be corrected by the time data obtained by the measurement processing and the time of the clock part at the moment is within the accuracy (allowable error) assured in the clock part is decided (steps S1 to S4). If it is not within the allowable error, it is decided that erroneous time data due to radio interference, such as ghosts and disturbances in time measurement and the measurement is terminated as it is without adjusting time. As a result of this, errors in time correction due to radio interference is eliminated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To save power consumption by detecting the receiving state of a broadcasting wave being received and when a bad condition has lasted for prescribed period of time, stopping power supply for the prescribed period of time, then restarting the power supply and repeating these operations. CONSTITUTION:When the power supply is restarted or a program is changed over, a CPU 11 controls a tuner 3 and a microprocessor 5 to start the receiving operation of the selected program. The CPU 11 discriminates whether or not the receiving state is neat based on the number of errors detected by an error detector 6 and when the bad state has lasted for the prescribed period of time, controls a power supply device 16 to stop the power supply. Then after a lapse of the prescribed period of time, the CPU 11 controls the device 16 to restart the power suppy, controls each part to repeat these operations and performs a power off operation to complete the processing. Thus, unnecessary power supply can be prevented and the power consumption can be saved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow a possessor itself to recognize easily a sent content externally by connecting a voice recognizing device to a receiver (recorder), detecting the coincidence with a registered voice by advance, and detecting the coincidence between voice information and the ciphering registered in advance and reproducing the content recorded in a message recorder via a transmitter. CONSTITUTION:When the possessor of the telephone set makes a call to the own telephone set externally and a prescribed ciphering is informed in voice, a voice recognition circuit 3 is operated and the inputted voice signal is decoded to be a ciphered data and stored in an input cipher storage circuit 5. Then the voice patterning circuit 4 is activated to pattern the characteristic of the inputted voice signal to output the voice pattern data. When the voice pattern data and the voice pattern of the possessor registered in advance are coincident, a comparator circuit 8 gives a coincidence signal to the input ciphering storage circuit 5, which sends the stored ciphering data to a comparison circuit 9. The ciphering data is compared with the ciphered data registered in advance by the comparator circuit, a recording/reproduction changeover circuit is operated when they are coincident to bring a message recording circuit 6. The message stored in the circuit 6 is outputted via a telephone set circuit 1.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information detecting apparatus, efficiently and accurately receiving scattered light of observation light applied to the skin to detect biological information such as pulse wave accurately and easily.
SOLUTION: The observation light of a specific wavelength band emitted from a light emitting element 6 for optically observing the skin tissue of a human body is guided to an annular light guide member 7 to be annularly diffused and irradiated to the skin H, and the scattered light taken from the skin H through an observation light taking part 8 located in the central area within the irradiated annular irradiating area E is received by a light receiving element 9. Thus, the observation light from the light emitting element 6 is annularly and uniformly diffused and irradiated to the skin H in a wide range, and only the scattered light taken from the skin H can be efficiently and accurately received by the light receiving element 9, so that biological information can be accurately and easily detected based on the received scattered light.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize stationary reduction of position measuring time in positioning equipment using a GPS. SOLUTION: This positioning equipment stores ephemeris and its obtained time when the ephemeris is obtained (steps SA6-SA8). After that, elapsed time after the ephemeris is obtained is calculated every one minute (steps SA10-SA12). After the process has passed two hours, an alarm sound is generated every two minutes (SA13-SA14). The alarm sound urges a user to perform measuring operation continuously for 30 seconds or longer at a place excellent in receiving environment of a radio wave before validity of the ephemeris is expired. It can be prevented that the position measuring time is increased by using ephemeris lacking in effectiveness, and provability that position measurement is possible in a short time is improved. During position measurement (YES in step SA9), the informing by the alarm sound is interrupted, and deterioration of measuring precision due to noise is prevented.
