    Abstract: PURPOSE:To adjust the volume of an alarm sound in accordance with the condition of a user having a wristwatch with him by detecting the oscillation of the wristwatch body by means of an acceleration sensor and controlling the volume of the alarm sound according to an oscillation frequency. CONSTITUTION:A flip-flop (FF) 9 is set or reset with a set signal or a reset signal output from a CPU 4 every minute. When an FF 9 becomes a set condition, with an AND gate 8 opened, the output signal of a binary value circuit 7 is supplied to a counter 10 and the output signal of the binary value circuit 7 within the counter 10, namely, the frequency of an acceleration sensor 5 is started to count. In addition, when the FF 9 becomes a reset condition, the signal from the binary value circuit 7 is stopped and the frequency of the sensor 5 is stopped from counting. The CPU 4 judges the behavior state of a user according to whether the frequency of the sensor 5 exceeds a certain value, & switches 15, 16, 17 are switched on or off with three kinds of signals, resistors R1, R2, R3 are changed over and the sound volume of a piezoelectric buzzer 14 is controlled.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a multi-functional clock of which functions can be switched more quickly to desired mode by rather less key operation. CONSTITUTION:In ordinary condition, modes are switched in sequence by operation of a mode switching key (S1 key). When a control key is operated in a mode other than a present time displaying mode, that operation is stored at a flag P. By operating the S1 key in that condition, the present mode data stored at a register M is removed to and stored at a register N as the previous mode data and, at the same time, the present time displaying mode is directly set forth. Moreover, in the present time displaying mode, when the S1 key is operated, 'the previous mode data' stored at the register N, is wrote down to the register M and the previous mode is directly set forth.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To avoid the consumption of wasteful electric power due to repeating the operation trying to receive long wave reference wave in the case where reception of the long wave reference wave is unavailable by stopping the receiving operation on the basis of the reception environment and restarting it. CONSTITUTION:A reception circuit 3 starts up by receiving the initiation and termination signals from a CPU1 and obtains a time cord TC in the signal from an antenna 2 to send to the CPU1. A frequency divider circuit 6 counts the signal from an oscillation circuit 5 and keeps on sending the signal M for a minute to a timer counter circuit 7. The counter circuit 7 counts the signal M and corrects the present time data. In the case of bad reception circumstances that the reception is failed for four times in succession (that is, the reception is failed for three hours), the receiving function is stopped and the wave correction process is not executed. If the time data receiver is moved while the wave correction process is stopped, for example a man carried it by hand, the acceleration induced by the movement is detected with an acceleration sensor 10 and the reception is restarted.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a calorie consumption display device which facilitates the recognition of the recent calorie consumption trend or the like over a certain extent of long period. CONSTITUTION:When the intensity of specified motion and sex and age of a user are inputted by the operation of a specified switch at a switch section 18 under the control of a CPU1, calorie consumed for one min. of the user attributed to the motion is obtained to be stored into a RAM17. When the specified switch at the switch section 18 is operated at the start and end of the motion, the calorie consumed during the period is calculated using the calorie consumption per min. to be stored into the RAM17. Furthermore, the results are recorded over one week. Thus, when the specified switch at the switch section 18 is operated, the results are displayed on a digital display section 20 and at the same time, quantitative evaluation thereof is displayed with a small second pointer 16.
