Abstract:
The simplified synthesizer supplying pairs of frequencies spaced at regular intervals comprises three oscillators, 24-quartz crystals, two modulators, but only 20-AND gates instead of the 30 previously required.
Abstract:
The invention concerns duplex radiocommunications at variablyselected carrier frequencies. It describes a concentrator ensuring the duplex connection at variably-selected carrier frequencies between a system of mobile transmitters and a telephone exchange comprising several unattended transmitter-receiver sets, in which the transmitter contains an individual call coder and a general call coder, the latter being used to establish the connection with a mobile set wanting to call up a telephone set. The invention is applied to connecting an ordinary telephone system and a group of mobile radio electric transmitter receivers.
Abstract:
A duplex radiocommunication transceiver with carrier frequencies that are made available to all parties of a network comprises a generator providing a plurality of pairs of frequencies and which is equipped with a stepping switch, a coder for coding the address of a correspondent, means for transmitting an occupation frequency in a channel which is occupied, means for decoding an address code being received, means for interpreting the presence of the occupation frequency, and means for stopping said stepping switch if both frequencies of the concerned pair are free for both parties.
Abstract:
This system is provided for the field of electronic facsimile transmitting of a picture and relates more particularly to the compression of data to reduce the number of bits to be transmitted at a given resolution of the picture. Compression is effected by a correlation of neighbouring points of the picture by omitting, at the transmitting end, one point in four on two adjacent lines and by restituting it at the receiving end by means of a relatively simple Boolean function which takes into account the structure of the characters used in that picture. That first compression may be combined with a second compression due to the coding of the length of a white range.
