Abstract: A bladed chassis system facilitates installation of the bladed chassis system and replacement of the blades at the chassis. Blades can be inserted and removed from the front and/or the rear of the bladed chassis system at the discretion of the user. Blades can be moved between discrete positions. In examples, blades can be one-handedly released from the chassis to allow movement between discrete positions. In examples, accidental movement past a discrete position is inhibited. Accidental removal of the blades from the chassis is inhibited. The chassis and blades cooperate to manage the optical fiber cables routed through a cable port in the chassis to the blades.

Abstract: A spool is transitionable between an operable (i.e., cable ready) state and a stowed (i.e., return ready) state. In the operable state, the spool is configured to receive and hold a coil of cable. In the stowed state, the spool has a reduced three-dimensional footprint compared to the operable state, thereby facilitating storage and return of the spools. The spool can be releasably locked in the operable state. When the lock is released, the spool can be freely transitioned between both states to facilitate reuse of the spool.

Abstract: A telecommunications panel or bracket assembly includes a frame for hingedly mounting to a telecommunications cabinet. The panel includes a plurality of telecommunications modules with one or more front ports and one or more rear ports for telecommunications cables. Patch cords connect from the front ports of the modules to equipment held by the cabinet. Trunk cables or other cables connect to the rear ports of the modules. The panel is hingedly mounted to the side of the cabinet to access the rear ports and the trunk cables.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to staggered breakout assembly using split mesh sleeving. The present disclosure also relates to a staggered breakout assembly having a fiber optic cable that transitions into a plurality fiber optic subgroups at a main transition housing and a plurality of furcations at a plurality of furcation tube transition housings. The present disclosure also relates to a split mesh sleeving including a longitudinal seam having an open and closed position with a bias toward the closed position, wherein the split mesh sleeving has breakout openings circumferentially spaced from the longitudinal seam to enable furcations to travel through the breakout openings.

Abstract: A cable guide includes a base for positioning the cable guide on a base surface of an internal area of a telecommunications chassis. The base is generally planar. The cable guide includes a plurality of arms and at least one arm of the plurality of arms is flexible. The cable guide includes a plurality of cable channels that are defined by the plurality of arms. The plurality of cable channels each receive a plurality of furcation tubes. Each of the plurality of cable channels is configured to allow furcation tubes to move within each of the plurality of cable channels. Each cable channel has an open position and a closed position. When in the open position, furcation tubes can be loaded and unloaded into and out of the cable channel. When in the closed position, furcation tubes are restricted from being removed from the cable channel.

Abstract: A main fanout includes a plurality of intermediate fanout devices that are connected to one another. Each intermediate fanout device can be assembled separately and then connected together to form the main fanout. Each intermediate fanout device is connected to an intermediate cable of a main cable and a plurality of optical fibers of each intermediate cable is positioned within at least one furcation tube. The plurality of optical fibers and at least one furcation tube are secured to a main body of each intermediate fanout device. Each intermediate fanout device includes a mating feature to connect to adjacent intermediate fanout devices with a like mating feature. The mating feature reduces relative movement between adjacent intermediate fanout devices.
