    Abstract: PURPOSE:To realize a recording medium superior in flatness and durability by curving a substrate previously so as to cancel the deformation of the substrate due to the internal stress of an optical recording layer. CONSTITUTION:Substrates 1 and 2 where optical recording layers 5 and 6 are formed are concaved enough to cancel the deformation due to the internal stress of various thin layers formed on the substrates. Then, reflection preventive layers 3 and 5, optical recording layers 5 and 6, and further protective layers 7 and 8 are laminated thereupon and the substrates 1 and 2 are stucked on each other across a adhesive layer 9. Therefore, the recording medium has superior flatness and excellent recording and reproducing characteristics are obtained. Consequently, the recording medium without occurrence of peeling, etc. superior in flatness and durability is obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve an anti-corrosion characteristic by using an amorphous film of a metal for a reflection layer of an optical recording medium which is equipped witrh an optical recording layer and reflection layer on a board. CONSTITUTION:The optical recording layer 2 is provided on a transparent board 1 consisting of plastic or glass. Then, the reflection layer 3 is provided on that board. A protective board 5 is bonded via a bonding layer 4. If the reflection layer 3 is made of an amorphous metal in the above mentioned constitution, the corrosion of the recording layer can be prevented even a bonding material is moisturized. Using a spatter device having several targets in case of various auxiliary layers are provided, the anti-corrosion characteristic can be more improved by forming consecutive layers without breaking vacuum.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a color separating filter having a high effective aperture rate with a simple process for production by repeating a stage for laminating successively a dye layer and photoresist layer on a substrate and subjecting the layers to pattern exposing and development to form a photoresist pattern then subjecting the layers to dry etching and stripping the resist pattern.
    CONSTITUTION: The dye layer 2 is coated to the prescribed position on the substrate 1 and the photoresist 3' is deposited thereon. The photoresist is subjected to pattern exposure through the prescribed exposing mask and the unexposed part is dissolved to obtain the photoresist pattern 3. The unnecessary dye layer 2 in the part not coated by the pattern 3 is removed by dry etching. The dye layer 4 is deposited by evaporation on such substrate 1 and similarly the photoresist pattern 5 is formed thereon. The dye layer 4 in the part not coated with the pattern 5 is removed by dry etching. The dye layer 6 is similarly patterned and the substrate is dipped in a stripping soln. to remove the photoresists 3, 5. The color separating filter is thus obtd.
