Abstract: A splice equipment assembly includes two routing paths along opposite sides of a splice region. The two routing paths do not cross. The two routing paths do not extend circumferentially around the splice region. The two routing paths provide adequate slack to allow a splice tray to be removed from the splice region and moved to a workstation outside of the splice equipment assembly. Multiple splice equipment assemblies can be mounted to the same rack (e.g., at a front and rear of the rack).

Abstract: A panel system includes a front door attached to a chassis by a living hinge. In certain examples, the door also is pivotally attached to the living hinge. The living hinge components can snap-fit to the front door and/or to the chassis. The panel system also may have a mounting bracket that attaches to the chassis without tools to hold the chassis at a rack. The mounting bracket may be mounted at any of multiple predetermined positons along the depth of the chassis.

Abstract: A latching arrangement by which a tray arrangement is releasably held in one or more positions relative to a chassis is at least partially actuated by a cable guide extending forwardly from the tray arrangement. In some example latching arrangements, the cable guide is pivoted relative to the tray arrangement to release a stop member from the chassis. In other example latching arrangements, the cable guide is slid relative to the tray arrangement to release the stop member. Certain types of latching arrangements have a second stop member that is separately actuated by a different part (e.g., an actuation leg) of the latching arrangement.

Abstract: A chassis panel defines one or more rearward-facing, open-ended slots at a rear of the chassis panel. One or more management inserts can be mounted within the open-ended slot along a forward-rearward axis. Cables can be pre-cabled through the inserts prior to being installed at one or more port modules. Accordingly, the port modules can be cabled prior to being installed at the chassis panel without first having to thread the cables through the chassis panel. Alternatively, the cables can be slid directly into the open- ended slots during installation of the port modules.

Abstract: A bladed chassis system facilitates installation of the bladed chassis system and replacement of the blades at the chassis. Blades can be inserted and removed from the front and/or the rear of the bladed chassis system at the discretion of the user. Blades can be moved between discrete positions. In examples, blades can be one-handedly released from the chassis to allow movement between discrete positions. In examples, accidental movement past a discrete position is inhibited. Accidental removal of the blades from the chassis is inhibited. The chassis and blades cooperate to manage the optical fiber cables routed through a cable port in the chassis to the blades.

Certain types of chassis can be pre-cabled with at least 576 or even at least 864 optical fibers within a 5 RU space. Abstract: Systems and methods for managing telecommunications cables include a cable guide bracket positioned spaced from and near a panel, the cable guide bracket including a plurality of cable openings; a cable passing through one of the cable openings and further through a cable passage of the panel into the interior of the panel; and a cable gland attached to the cable, the cable gland further attached to the cable guide bracket to restrict movement of the cable in relation to the cable guide bracket. The adjustable cable guide bracket provides more cable openings than would normally fit on the panel.
