Abstract: Procedeul pentru purificarea clorcianului brut distilare fractionala, consta în aceea ca, se introduce într-o zona de fractionare de 15...30 talere teoretice, clorcianul gazos brut, dupa o eventuala spalare cu apa, eventual 0,1% în greutate clor, la temperatura de 15...20 degree C, distilarea fractionata având loc la un raport de reflux de 1:1 pâna la 1:10, de preferinta 1:1,5...1:3 si la o presiune de 1...2at, de unde pe la partea superioara se evacueaza clorcian gazos pur, iar pe la partea inferioara clorcian lichid cu impuritati, care se trece la o zona de vaporizare, unde se vaporizeaza prin contact direct cu un lichid vaporizator cu temperatura de 40...60 degree C ales dintre apa sau o solutie rezultata de la sinteza în mediu apos a clorcianului, rezultând clorcian care se recircula la zona de rectificare, respectiv la zona de spalare.

Abstract: Alkali thiocyanates are prepared by reacting alkali cyanides with sulfur in the presence of alkali sulfide in a molar amount of 1:1000 to 1:2000 as a solubilizer for the sulfur. The reaction is carried out above the melting point of sulfur, preferably in an alkali thiocyanate solution. The alkali sulfide is then converted to the sulfate by oxidation with hydrogen peroxide.
