Abstract:
A modular construction falling film evaporator (1) is disclosed, comprising a stack (2) of alternate gap-like evaporation chambers (34) and sheet-like evaporator modules (3) with an assembly (31) of parallel microchannels (32, 33), whereby the evaporation chambers (34) are open above and/or below across the whole width of the module and the stack is arranged in a container (1). The falling film evaporator (1) is used in a method for obtaining a gaseous phase from a liquid medium on a technical scale and is suitable for the concentration of thermolabile solutions and rapidly adjustable production of a gas stream.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a microreactor (1) composed of plates or stacks for carrying out heterogenically catalysed reactions for commercial use, said reactor being provided with chambers between the plates for the chemical reaction and the dissipation of heat. Catalytic material is applied to the internal walls or lies in recesses of the reaction chambers and spacer elements (11) are provided in all chambers. The invention is characterised i n that the slot-type reaction chambers of the microreactor comprise channels with a hydraulic diameter of less than 1500 micrometers and a ratio of free slot width to free slot height ranging between 10 and 450.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the production of zeolite catalysts, containing transition group metals, by means of hydrothermal synthesis with subsequent calcification, characterised in that the transition group metal is used in the form of carbonyl, isonitrile or cyano complexes in the hydrothermal syntheses. Said catalysts can be used as denoxification catalysts, or for the oxidation of organic compounds.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a microreactor for performing heterogeneous catalytic reactions, being of plate or stack construction for industrial use, with provision made for chambers between the plates for the chemical reaction and for the heat removal. Inside the reaction chambers, catalyst material is applied to the internal walls or filled into recesses, and in all chambers there are spacers. In particular the slot-shaped reaction chambers have channels with a hydraulic diameter smaller than 1500 μm and a ratio of free slot width to free slot height in the range of 10 to 450.

Abstract:
Catalyst-coated support, method for producing the same, reactor comprising the same and use thereof. Supports having a catalytic coating comprising at least one porous and cavity-containing catalyst layer are described, cavities being irregular spaces having dimensions greater than 5 μm in at least two dimensions or having cross-sectional areas of at least 10 μm2. The catalytic coatings are distinguished by a high adhesive strength and can preferably be used in microreactors.
