Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for avoiding or reducing formation of bubbles generated by a chemical and physical conversion precess in a liquid medium. SOLUTION: The substance conversion process is performed in a blowing-up reactor 1 which has not a built-in body and is provided with a tapered lower part and favorably provided with a conical lower part 3 and a gas injection device 6. The contents in the reactor 1 are sufficiently mixed by using jet circulation for blowing up the contents through gas injection. The device is equipped with a port 5 for discharging suspension containing plenty of solid matter in the tapered part. The blowing-up jet reactor 1 is provided with a pipe 8 which is terminated in the range of a formed bubble flow and used to introduce a liquid medium. Therefore, this method is specially suitable to execute a crystallization method.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain two or more fraction having different particle distributions somewhat continuously. SOLUTION: Particulate matter is produced by a continuous fluidized bed spray granulation. In this case, the particulate matter is discharged by a discharge device having classifying effect by an area ratio of time integral of a discharge surface 'f' to floor area F of a fluidized bed causing periodic vibration. By decreasing the area ratio f/F, the vibration is controlled, and by further decreasing it, a change of a amplitude is increased. Fractions of different particle size distributions are obtained by fractionally removing particulate matter during one period. The area ratio f/F is 5 0/00-0.1 0/00.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To advantageously obtain a cyclic 4-oxamidine useful in synthesis of extremely pure and biologically active substances, etc., in good yield or extremely excellent yield by oxidizing or dehydrogenating a specific cyclic compound or its salt. SOLUTION: In this method for producing a compound of formula I [R and R are each H, a 1-8C alkyl, 2-8C alkenyl or the like; R to R are each same as R ; (n) is 1-3], a cyclic compound of formula II or its salt is oxidized or dehydrogenated. Furthermore, the compound of formula II is preferably produced by reacting α-aminonitrile with an aldehyde and the oxidation is carried out by using a halogen or an agent from a group of a halogen derivative, especially by using Cl2 as an oxidizing agent and dehydrogenation is preferably carried out in the presence of Ru or an agent from a group of Ru, etc., especially palladium, in an organic solvent or a solvent mixture, especially in ketone within the temp. range of 50-250 deg.C.
Abstract:
The invention relates to reaction tubes provided with catalyst coated inserts whose main faces are inclined at an angle equal to or less than 10° with respect to the longitudinal axis of a reaction tube, wherein said reaction tubes enable to attain an improved yield for a hydrogen cyanide production according to a BMA process without increased sooting in the reaction tubes.
Abstract:
Reducing or preventing foaming in chemical and physical transformation processes in liquid media comprises carrying out the transformation in a buoyancy-free jet reactor with no baffles, which has a tapered lower part and is fitted with a gas injector in a position which facilitates circulation without buoyancy. The reactor contents are thoroughly mixed by gas injection. Also claimed is an apparatus for the above process, with a pipe connection for taking off a high-solids suspension and an inlet tube for a liquid medium above the gas injector, the outlet of this tube being located in the cloud of bubbles formed when the apparatus is working.
