Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reductively cleaving a bis(alkoxysilylorganyl)polysulfide, achieving at least an equivalent conversion rate under a more moderate temperature and/or pressure condition as compared with those of publicly known methods.
