Abstract:
The invention is to provide a water supply device capable of reducing manufacturing cost by making components necessary minimum. This water supply device (1) has a pump (3), an inverter (5) for variably controlling a rotational frequency of the pump (3), and a control part 6 for controlling the inverter (5). The control part 6 has a display part (624) for displaying information on the inverter (5). The inverter (5) has an operation changeover switch (520) for switching automatic operation, stopping and test operation of the corresponding pump (3). The inverter (5) has a power source part (505) for supplying electric power to the inverter (5) and supplying electric power to the control part (6).
Abstract:
A WATER SUPPLY APPARATUS (1) IS CAPABLE OF PERFORMING A BACKUP OPERATION, WITHOUT LOWERING WATER SUPPLY CAPABILITY, WHEN A FAILURE HAS OCCURRED IN ONE CONTROL SUBSTRATE DUE TO SURGE OR NOISE CAUSED BY LIGHTNING OR SENSOR WEAR, BY SWITCHING TO THE OTHER CONTROL SUBSTRATE, AND CAPABLE OF RELIABLY PERFORMING THE BACKUP OPERATION. THE WATER SUPPLY APPARATUS INCLUDES: A PLURALITY OF PUMPS (3); A PLURALITY OF MOTORS (4) CONFIGURED TO DRIVE THE PLURALITY OF PUMPS (3); A PLURALITY OF INVERTERS EACH CONFIGURED FOR VARIABLE ROTATIONAL SPEED CONTROL OF A CORRESPONDING ONE OF THE PLURALITY OF MOTORS (4); AND A FIRST CONTROL BOARD AND A SECOND CONTROL BOARD EACH CONFIGURED TO CONTROL THE PLURALITY OF INVERTERS. WHEN AN ABNORMALITY OCCURS IN THE FIRST CONTROL BOARD, THE SECOND CONTROL BOARD BACKS UP THE FIRST CONTROL BOARD TO THEREBY ALLOW THE WATER SUPPLY APPARATUS TO CONTINUE ITS OPERATIONS. THE FIRST CONTROL BOARD, THE PLURALITY OF INVERTERS, AND THE SECOND CONTROL BOARD ARE CONNECTED IN SERIES BY COMMUNICATION LINES.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water feed apparatus capable of dealing with a configuration change in a flexible and inexpensive manner.SOLUTION: A water feed apparatus 1 includes: a plurality of pumps 3; a plurality of inverters 5 that variably control rotation frequency of the pumps corresponding thereto; and a control unit 6 that controls the inverters 5. Each of the inverters 5 includes: a main board 50 having a rectifier 500 that rectifies alternate current power, a power unit 501 that converts the power rectified by the rectifier 500 into alternate current power at a desired frequency, a central control unit 504 that controls the power unit 501, and a communication unit that exchanges information with the outside; and an input-output board 54 having an input terminal that inputs a signal from the outside and an output terminal that outputs a signal to the outside.
Abstract:
A water supply apparatus is configured to meet energy-saving demands by controlling a pump so that the rotational speed of the pump is lowered while keeping a constant flow rate. The water supply apparatus includes a pump for pressurizing and delivering water, a frequency converter for supplying electric power to the pump to operate the pump at a variable rotational speed, a discharge-side pressure sensor for detecting a pressure at a discharge side of the pump, and a controller (15) for controlling the rotational speed of the pump. The controller (15) stores a plurality of control head curves (B, C 1 , C 2 , C 3 ) representing different relationships between flow rates (Q) and heads (H), and controls the rotational speed of the pump based on an alternatively selected one of the control head curves (B, C 1 , C 2 , C 3 ).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for starting a water supply system that can eliminate a lack of water supply pressure caused in such a case as when flush valves for flushing toilets in facilities such as a school are used simultaneously.SOLUTION: The water supply system includes a pump 14, a motor 16 for driving the pump 14, an inverter 18 for controlling the rotation frequency of the motor 16, a pressure sensor 34 for detecting the pressure on the discharge side of the pump 14, and an internal memory 48. The internal memory 48 is made to memorize the day of the week and the time when the pressure detected by the pressure sensor 34 falls into a preset pressure or less, thereby making the pump 14 operate forcedly for a predetermined time starting at a few minutes before the same time on the same day of the following week.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection method of a pressure tank which can accurately detect the abnormality of the pressure tank such as decrease in the charged pressure, and a water supply device with an abnormality detection function for the pressure tank.SOLUTION: An abnormality detection method of a pressure tank monitors the rotational speed of a pump 14 of a water supply device 10, and if the pump 14 restarts before the rotation of the pump 14 completely stops, determines that abnormality occurs in a pressure tank 36.
