The present invention relates in general to thiophosphine compounds (also named phosphine sulfide compounds) and their use for making polymerizable compositions which after polymerisation give optically transparent articles, such as ophthalmic lenses, having improved mechanical and optical properties and in particular having an improved UV cut.

processos de produção de aditivo para lente oftálmica transparente. apresenta-se no presente documento um método para a produção de uma lente oftálmica tridimensional com o uso da produção de aditivo. o método inclui constituir voxels de uma ou mais composições, em que pelo menos uma das composições compreende um ou mais pré-polímeros ou polímeros, e induzir a conectividade entre os voxels criando, desse modo, um ou mais elementos incrementais, repetir as etapas de constituição, e realizar um pós-tratamento final. também é apresentada no presente documento uma lente oftálmica obtida por este método. a lente tem boa homogeneidade e claridade óptica, encolhimento reduzido e precisão geométrica aprimorada e propriedades termomecânicas.

The invention provides a method of manufacturing an ophthalmic lens (40) having at least one optical function, comprising the determination of a transmission spectrum in a wavelength range from 280 to 2000 nm, the determination of a matrix comprising at least two compounds absorbing light having a wavelength from 280 to 2000 nm, with regard to the determined transmission spectrum, and additively manufacturing said matrix.

Disclosed is a thiophosphine compound of formula: wherein X represents with R 1 being H or -CH 3 , R and R' represent, independently from each other, an alkyl radical, an alkoxy radical, an aryl radical or a phenyl radical which may be substituted with one or more alkyl and/or alkoxy groups, n is an integer from 0 to 4, n' is an integer from 0 to 5, x is an integer from 0 to 2, y is an integer from 1 to 5 with the proviso that y+n is an integer from 1 to 5. The compounds can be used to make optically transparent articles such as ophthalmic lenses.

The invention concerns a photocurable adhesive composition comprising, based on total weight of photopolymerizable monomers and/or oligomers of the composition : 5 to 60 wt% of at least one mono or polyacrylate monomer or oligomer thereof (A) ; 5 to 50 wt% of at least one thio(meth)acrylate monome r or oligomer thereof (B) ; and 20 to 50 wt% of at least one aromatic dimethacrylate monomer or oligomer thereof (C) ; with the proviso that the composition does not contain a brominated monofuntional acrylate.
