Abstract: Bereitgestellt wird eine Streichlichtquelle, welche eine Endoberfläche, welche mit einem Wellenlängenfilter, gebildet aus einem Beugungsgitter und einem Endspiegel, über einen Lichtdeflektor gekoppelt ist, und eine andere Endoberfläche umfasst, welche ein einem Ausgangskoppelspiegel gegenüberliegendes Verstärkermedium umfasst, und welches eine Laserkavität zwischen dem Endspiegel und dem Ausgangskoppelspiegel bildet, wobei eine Betriebsspannung mit einer Wechselstromspannung, auf welche eine Gleichstrom-Vorspannung überlagert ist, von einer Steuerspannungsquelle des Lichtdeflektors an ein Elektrodenpaar eines elektrooptische Kristalls ausgegeben wird, Licht von einem Lichtemitter auf dem elektrooptischen Kristall gestrahlt wird und einfallendes Licht von dem Verstärkermedium, welches entlang einer optischen Achse senkrecht zu einer Richtung eines elektrischen Felds einfällt, welches durch die Steuerspannung gebildet ist, in einer Richtung parallel zu dem elektrischen Feld abgelenkt wird, sodass ein Wellenlängenstreichen ausgeführt wird.

Abstract: Light from a pulse light source 11 is split by an optical splitter 12 into two light beams, and one is made to be incident via a gate optical system 2 on a detection medium 6 as a gate pulse used in observation of fluorescence. Moreover, the other is made to be incident via an excitation optical system 3 on a substance undergoing measurement 4 as an excitation pulse used in producing fluorescence, and the fluorescence from the substance undergoing measurement 4 is irradiated via a fluorescence optical system 5 onto the detection medium 6. Here, a fluorescence component that passes through a region of the detection medium 6 where a change in refractive index has been induced through a nonlinear optical effect produced in the detection medium 6 by the gate pulse is observed as a fluorescence image by utilizing a change in polarization state; by observing the change in position of the fluorescence image while correlating with the change over time in the fluorescence, a fluorescence lifetime measuring apparatus is realized with which the change over time in the fluorescence, inparticular the fluorescence lifetime, can be measured efficiently with high temporal resolution.

Abstract: A radioisotope generating apparatus according to the present invention comprises a nuclear reaction section (30) an interior of which is retained in a vacuum; a source supply section (20) for supplying a source material R consisting of a nuclide necessary for generation of the radioisotope, to the nuclear reaction section; an optical system (10) for emitting pulse laser light toward the source material R supplied into the nuclear reaction section (30) and thereby brought into a dispersed state, thereby inducing a nuclear reaction in the source material R to generate the radioisotope; a product nucleus collecting section (40) for collecting a molecule PI having a nucleus of the radioisotope generated in the nuclear reaction section; and a radiation shielding system (50) for preventing outside leakage of radiations generated in the nuclear reaction section(30). This permits the position of a reaction field of the nuclear reaction to be fixed in a specific small region inside the nuclear reaction section, whereby the space necessary for the nuclear reaction section can be largely decreased.
