1480661 Reducing Ti and Al in aqueous waste HOECHST AG 17 July 1975 [17 July 1974] 30018/75 Heading C1C A process for reducing the Ti and Al content of aqueous waste liquid comprises establishing a pH of 4À5 to 9 and separating the resulting Ti and Al-containing deposit. A flocculating agent may be incorporated with the waste liquid to assist formation of the said deposit; a suitable agent is one based on polyacrylamide. The method is suitable for waste liquid obtained from the polymerization of olefins by, e.g., a Ziegler process.
