Abstract: The use . of urea gp.-contg. cpds. (A) as agents to prevent pigment dispersion in liq. hardenable mixts. The mixts. to which (A) are added pref. contain in addn. to pigments and conventional additives, (B) cpds. contg. at least.2 free activated double bands; and (C) crosslinkers with at least 2 H-active (pref. CH) gps. (A) can be mono- or poly-ureas with 1-5 urea gps./mol., esp. those made by reaction of a monoamine with a diisocyanate, and are pref. used in amts. of 1-30 wt.% based on the total solids wt. of the hardenable compsn.
