The present invention relates to a catalyst system containing at least one metallocene and at least one inertised support and preferably at least one co-catalyst. To produce the inertised support, at least one inorganic oxide is treated with at least one metal-organic compound, preferably in an inorganic solvent. The present invention also relates to a polymer with a melting point >/= 158 DEG C, a regio error proportion 98.0 %.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate for synthesis of a metallocene having an aryl-substituted indenyl derivative as a ligand, and its using method. SOLUTION: Crosslinked ligands having a specific aryl-substituted indenyl derivative such as dimethylsililbis(2-methyl-4-phenylindenyl), and its raw compound are used for synthesizing the metallocene. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an important intermediate for the production of a chiral metallocene complex suitable as a catalyst component for olefin polymerization. SOLUTION: The objective substituted indene compound can be produced by reacting a compound of formula IV or IVa (R1 to R5 are each a halogen or an alkyl) with a compound of formula I and a compound of formula II and reducing or dehydrating the produced corresponding indanone compound.

Copolymer comprises 30-99.5 wt.% propylene units and 0.5-70 wt.% comonomer of ethylene or at least 4C olefin of formula (I): RaCH=CHRb (I) Ra and Rb = H or 1-15C alkyl or form a 4-12C ring with the C atom.
