    Abstract: New polyaddition prods. are of formula (I): (X is O, S or NR1; R1 is H or 1-4C alkyl; R3 is 1-4C (halo) alkyl, is not >8C cycloalkyl, is not >4C alkenyl, or phenyl or benzyl opt. substd. by 1 halo; r4 is H or 1-4C alkyl; R5 is H or 1-2C alkyl; R6 is H or (chloro)methyl; R7 is H, CH3 or C2H5; m = 1-20; n = 1-6; r = 0-1; Z is a radical or valency which may be (i) opt. branched 1-18C hydrocarbyl radical, opt. interrupted by 1-8 O atom, 1-3S and/or NR2 (R2 = 1-4C (halo)alkyl); (ii) cyclohexyl opt. with 1-3 1-4C alkyl(opt. unsatd.) alkyl substits. opt. themselves with F, Cl or Br substits.; (iii) aromatic or araliphatic gps. derived from is not >18C (alkyl)benzenes, naphthalene, diphenyl (m)(ethane) or diphenyl-2,2-propane, opt. ring-substd. by 1 or 2 (m)ethoxy and on the ring or side chains by F, Cl or Br; and (iv) gps. of formulae (II)-(IV); n1 and n2 = 0 or 1; R9 is 1-3C alkyl opt. substd. by OH, mono- or di-alkylamino, or halo; 2-3C alkenyl or phenyl opt. substd. by 1 or 2 halo; when n1 or n2 = O, then R10 and R11 are as R9; but when both are O, >=1 of R10 and R11 is 1-3C alkylene and, when n0 or n1 = 1, a 2-5C opt. branched alkylene or -CH(CH2Cl)CH2-; R12 is 1-6C alkylene, phenylene, xylylene or -C(Y)R13-; Y is OH or NH2; R13 is 1-3C alkyl; R14 is as R3 or OCHR6.CHR7). Used for fireproofing textiles when applied together with crosslinking agents. The resulting finishes have excellent fastness to washing. Materials which can be treated include natural or regenerated cellulose, polyesters, polyamides and polypropylene. (I) are stable for a long time as aq. concentrates.
