    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patient device which exhibits a high level of user-friendliness despite having relatively small dimensions in a portable diabetes treatment device which continuously delivers insulin to a diabetic patient. SOLUTION: At least a part of a user interface of the patient device, especially a display unit, can be represented separately from the patient device and recognisably by a patient. The size of the representation is no longer subject to the size limitations of the case of the patient device. A patient with restricted eyesight can see a larger representation. The patient device 2 has a case and a projector, and the projector represents information on a surface 4 separately from the patient device 2.     Abstract: The invention relates to a medical data transmission system comprising a first device (1) which is designed to be worn on the body of a patient and which generates medically relevant data when in operation, said data being transmitted wirelessly to a second device (2). The first device (1) comprises a communication unit (7) for the wireless communication with the second device (2), a circuit (3, 5) which generates medically relevant data when in operation and a handover memory (6) for the intermediate storage of data that are to be transferred from the circuit (3, 5) to the communication unit (7) or from the communication unit (7) to the circuit (3, 5). The data generating circuit (3, 5) is connected to the handover memory (6) via a first data line (10) and the communication unit (7) is connected to the handover memory (6) via a second data line (12). The invention is characterized in that the first device (1) comprises a change-over switch (11) closing the first data line and interrupting the second data line (12) in a first switched state and interrupting the first data line (10) and closing the second data line (12) in a second switched state, said change-over switch (11) changing between the first and the second switched state without communication with the data generating circuit (3, 5).

    Abstract: In a medical data transfer system the patient wears a sensor assembly (1) collecting data for wireless transmission to a medical data collection system (2). The sensor assembly (1) also incorporates a wireless communications unit (7), an electronic circuit (3, 5) generating medically relevant data, and a data transfer storage unit (6). The circuit (3, 5) is linked to the storage unit (6) by a first data cable (10). The communications unit (7) is linked to the storage unit (6) by a second data cable (12). The sensor assembly (1) has a switch (11) that in a first position makes the connection in the first data cable and in a second position makes the connection in the second data cable. The switch (11) alternates between the two conditions without communication to the electronic circuit (3, 5).
