Abstract:
The invention relates to a piercing system for removing bodily fluid from the skin of a human or animal. Said system comprises a disposable piercing unit (1), which contains a needle element (6) for puncturing the skin, a piercing device (2), which encompasses a piercing drive (4), said drive propelling a piercing displacement of the piercing unit (1), which is coupled to the piercing drive (4) by means of a coupling mechanism (3), a predefined value of the piercing depth being guaranteed using a piercing depth reference element (10), which comprises a skin contact surface (11) and the predefined value of the piercing depth being determined by the distance in the piercing direction between the skin contact surface (11) and the position of the needle tip at the inversion point of the piercing displacement. The piercing depth reference element (10) is connected to the needle element (6) and coupled to the drive in such a way that it is displaced together with the needle element (1) during at least one part of the propulsion phase and has a defined longitudinal position in the piercing direction in relation to the needle element (6), at least at the inverse point of the piercing displacement.

The magazine (110) comprises a plurality of analytical accessories (118) on a carrier ribbon (116). The analytical accessories (118) can be provided by means of the carrier ribbon (116) in at least one application position (128) of the magazine (110). The magazine (110) further comprises at least one good spool (120) for receiving areas of the carrier ribbon (116) having unused analytical accessories (118) and at least one bad spool (122) for receiving areas of the carrier ribbon (116) having used analytical accessories (118). The carrier ribbon (116) can be moved from the good spool (120) to the bad spool (122) in a winding direction (126). The magazine (110) comprises a backturn preventer (136) of the bad spool (122). The magazine (110) further comprises a ribbon release device (142) designed to provide a bad spool ribbon reserve for the carrier ribbon (116) on the side of the application position (128) facing the bad spool (122). The bad spool ribbon reserve preferably allows a stroke movement (134) of an analytical accessory (118) present in the application position (128).

Abstract:
Abstract:

The medical system (110) comprises:a. a housing (112);b. a preassembled functional module (118) received in the housing (112), the preassembled functional module (118) comprisingb1. an analytical sensor (120) for detecting at least one analyte in a body fluid of a user;b2. an electronics unit (126) electrically connected to the analytical sensor (120); andb3. an insertion component (130) for inserting the analytical sensor (120) into a body tissue of the user;c. at least one removable protective cap (134) connected to the housing (112), covering the preassembled functional module (118).
Abstract:
A magazine (110) for use in an analytic test instrument (112) is proposed. The magazine (110) is embodied as replaceable magazine (110). The magazine (110) comprises a plurality of analytic aids (118) on a carrier tape (116). The analytic aids (118) can be made available in at least one application position (128) of the magazine (110) by means of the carrier tape (116). The magazine (110) furthermore has at least one supply reel (120) for holding regions of the carrier tape (116) with unused analytic aids (118) and at least one take-up reel (122) for holding regions of the carrier tape (116) with used-up analytic aids (118). The carrier tape (116) can be moved in a spooling direction (126) from the supply reel (120) to the take-up reel (122). The magazine (110) has a rewind lock (136) of the take-up reel (122). The magazine (110) furthermore has a tape release device (142), which is configured to make available a take-up reel tape reserve of the carrier tape (116) on the side of the application position (128) facing the take-up reel (122). The take-up reel tape reserve preferably enables a lifting movement (134) of an analytic aid (118) situated in the application position (128).
Abstract:
The system has an analytical aid (1) including a test unit (4) with a test field (5) for analyzing a liquid sample. A coupling unit (7) is successively connected to a lancet (3) of the analytical aid in a position of the analytical aid and to the test unit in another position of the analytical aid. A drive unit (8) moves the coupling unit from a resting position (22) to a moving position such that the movement of the coupling unit is transmitted to the lancet for executing a puncturing movement, or is transmitted to the test unit for executing a sample-collecting movement. An independent claim is also included for a method for collecting a liquid sample in a sample collecting system by an analytical aid.
