    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring an analyte in a liquid sample by means of an examination system which includes two compartments. SOLUTION: A detection reaction, necessary for measuring the analyte in the liquid sample, is carried out in the inside of a first compartment, and analytical measurement of an index substance, which is at least one substance concerned with the detective reaction and different from the analyte, is carried out inside side a second compartment. Two compartments allow the index substance to enter the second compartment, and separation is carried out, while at least partially preventing entrance of another substance, capable of disturbing the analytical measurement of the index substance in the second compartment. As a captured substance, at least another substance capable of selectively condensing the index substance in the inside of the second compartment is fixed inside the second compartment.     Abstract: A method for detecting at least one analyte in a body fluid (112) is disclosed. The method comprises the following steps: a) performing an optical measurement, wherein at least one test chemical (120) is contacted with the body fluid (112), wherein the test chemical (120) is an optical test chemical (120) and is adapted to perform at least one detection reaction in the presence of the analyte, wherein at least one optically detectable property of at least one of the body fluid (112) and the test chemical (120) is changed due to the detection reaction, wherein at least one optical measurement value is generated; b) performing at least one impedance measurement, wherein at least two impedance measurement electrodes (130) are used, wherein at least one alternating electrical signal is applied to the body fluid (112) via the impedance measurement electrodes (130) and wherein at least one answer signal is recorded, wherein at least one impedance measurement value is generated; c) performing at least one evaluation step, wherein, in the evaluation step, at least one evaluation algorithm is used, wherein the optical measurement value and the impedance measurement value are used for determining a concentration of the analyte in the body fluid (112).

    Abstract: The invention concerns a method for determining an analyte in a liquid sampl e by means of a test system consisting of at least two compartments wherein the detection reactions necessary to determine the analyte in the liquid sample are carrie d out in a first compartment and an analytical determination of at least one substance which participates in the detection reactions and is different from the analyte, t he indicator substance, takes place in a second compartment characterized in that the two compartments are separated in a manner which allows the indicator substance to pass into the second compartment and at least partially prevents passage of other substances that could interfere with the analytical determination of the indicator substance in the second compartment and that at least one other substance which, as a capture substance, can selectively enrich the indicator substance in the second compartment, is present in an immobilized form in the second compartment. Other subject matters of the invention are test systems for carrying out such methods and the use of these test systems for the determination of analytes according to the invention.
