Abstract: The method involves accessing a computer database in response to a search query to generate a number of results identifying a number of result files, accessing information regarding virus status associated with at least some of the result files and producing a display of at least some of the results on the basis of the virus status information. Independent claims are also included for the following: a system with a computer database and an access program, a program product for accessing a database, a method of building a virus database and a system with a virus database, a computer with a program for receiving and storing virus status data and a program product for receiving and storing virus status data.
