PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a system and a computer program product for user interface widget unit based application sharing coping with deficiencies of the art in respect to application sharing. SOLUTION: In a first embodiment, a data processing system for user interface widget unit based application sharing, can include a dynamic widget server communicatively linked with a dynamic widget browser. The dynamic widget browser can include a program code enabled to render a user interface including one or more remote dynamic widgets peered to corresponding dynamic widgets for a dynamic view for an application launched by the dynamic widget server. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dynamic machine synthesis method for implementing effective wireless device access and management through integrated device capabilities. SOLUTION: With the method, simple devices can be integrated into a dynamic machine (DM) so as to provide an end user with integrated access and management methods, thereby providing true flexibility and convenience. Thus, complex applications or service requirements can be satisfied with a group of simple devices. Devices themselves are no longer treated as individual devices but as the constituent components of a DM. The method also provides a new approach for solving complex problems by using dynamic machine instead of designing and manufacturing new real machines, people could just build DMs in time of need and disassemble them whenever they are no longer needed with little cost. An intelligent surrogate apparatus for enhancing the display output and interaction capability of a portable device comprises a communication interface for connecting the portable device and an display controller. The apparatus comprises a connection manager for establishing connection and managing data flows; a graphics data receiver for receiving structured graphics data output from an application running on the portable device via the communication interface and converting them to a corresponding graphic function invocation; and a windows manager which may invoke a graphic function library to organize application windows according to the graphic function invocation. The apparatus can organize windows on the external display and/or interact with the application program in response to an external keyboard/mouse event so that the portable device is endued with additional capabilities of interactive operations.
