Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control suitably a screen display when the output destination of a display signal is switched among plural display devices different from each other in resolution. SOLUTION: This screen display control method for switching the output destination of the display signal among plural display devices is provided with a first resolution control stage for inspecting and storing the maximum resolution of the display devices 51-53, a second resolution control stage for setting static maximum resolution for performing allocation of a picture buffer, a switch stage for specifying the display device becoming the output destination of the display signal according to specification from a user, a third resolution control stage for setting dynamic maximum resolution according to display ability of software while displaying and a resolution decision means for setting the resolution on the display device newly specified as the output destination of the display signal to either lower one between the resolution of the display device controlled by the first resolution control stage or the dynamic resolution set by the third resolution control stage.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer device superior in visibility and operability, a display device, a display controller, the processing method of an image or the like. SOLUTION: A part of the image displayed on the screen of a display is magnified/displayed only in one direction and is displayed on a window W3. When a horizontally written sentence is displayed, the image of a part of the screen is magnified only in a vertical direction. When a vertically written sentence is displayed, the image is magnified only in a horizontal direction.
