    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress waste and inefficiency to a minimum by executing feedforward correction proceeding to a manufacturing process on the basis of the state of a half-finished product. SOLUTION: The ideal value is assigned to a parameter list corresponding to a finished product. A workpiece is subjected to a first manufacturing process in order to obtain a finished product satisfying the ideal value. The manufacturing process is monitored in order to confirm the state of a half-finished product to the ideal value. On the basis of the state of the half-finished product, feedforward correction proceeding is executed to the manufacturing process, and the workpiece is subjected to a corrected manufacturing process.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency for the typical operation of a computer by changing adaptively an instant window from a default state window and associating the attribute of the changed window with a specific window action pattern of a user. SOLUTION: The changing progress of the default pattern of a user is monitored and a window pattern of actions and results of the user which is expanded while a 1st operation session is tracked to produce a relation history. In this layout, some of default screen windows are preserved, a new window (circular icon 26) is added and the old windows are erased to reorganize the topology. Thus, an instant window to be displayed is produced during a 2nd operation session by means of an indicated object. The instant window is adaptively changed from a default state window, and the attribute of this changed window is associated with a specific window action pattern of the user which is expanded during the 1st operation session.

    Abstract: An electrostatic lens is disposed between a charge electrode and deflection plates to electrostatically focus each of the droplets on a recording surface at a position in alignment with the nozzle supplying the stream. The lens preferably comprises three electrodes with each of the outer electrodes having the same potential, which is substantially equal to the kinetic energy per unit charge of each of the charged droplets and of opposite polarity to the charge on the droplets, and the third electrode preferably being grounded. Each of the electrodes has a circular aperture through which the charged droplets pass with the electrodes being spaced from each other in the direction of the stream a distance preferably no greater than the diameter of the aperture. If desired, the electrode, which is furthest from the nozzle, can be omitted although this will produce some deceleration of the droplets.
