Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the object display method which makes a user surely and easily recognize what is a selected object. SOLUTION: Two display areas for display of object supplementary information are provided as supplementary information display areas on a display device 11 independently of an object display area. When the user indicates a specific object in the object display area by a keyboard 20, a cursor, or the like, the user is made to recognize what is the selected object by means, which display related information, which indicates this object, in supplementary information display areas in places other than the object with first and second attributes respectively.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GUI capable of selective an object without using a click button and with low mis-operation rate. SOLUTION: When a user selects a upper scroll button 20, an operation to press a pointer 21 on the button 20 is performed. When the pointer 32 is moved and comes in contact with the button 20, the button 20 is crushed to a dot outer frame side by four dots, and the movable range of the pointer 32 is increased by four dots. After that, when the pointer 32 is further moved to a button 20 side by the user and comes in contact with the button 20, the button 20 is crushed by four dots, and an operation to increase the movable range by four dots is repeated. Finally, when the count value of such operation exceeds a regulated value 3, an event representing the depression of the button 20 is delivered to an application side, and an application performs the scroll processing of a display area.

Thereby which window includes an object selected by a user can be recognized at a glance.
