Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically assign personnel according to change of personnel data even when a situation of the personnel fluctuates after assigning the personnel to a project in a field of project management. SOLUTION: A personnel assignment system 10 is connected to a project management system 20 managing data related to a plurality of tasks constituting the project, and a personnel management system 30 managing data related to the personnel. Information related to the task already assigned with the personnel is held in the project management system 20 as the task data. The task data are associated with at least identification data of the assigned personnel. Because the identification data are also included in the personnel data held in the personnel management system 30, the identification data can be used as key information for record retrieval. SOLUTION: Plural function areas 201-231 are defined in an area 200 for composite icons. Appearance images are related to respective function areas 201-231, and on a function area where a mouse pointer is located, the appearance image related to that function area among the function areas 201-231 is displayed as the appearance image of a composite icon. Besides, functions are related to respective function areas 201-231, and when there is mouse click in a certain function area, the function related to that function area among the function areas 201-231 is executed. This set of function areas 201-231 can be changed by operation for changing the size of the composite icon or switching the system of function groups or the selection of an object to be operated.
