Abstract: The disclosure provides use of one or more antibodies that specifically bind one or more polypeptides consisting of SEQ ID NOs:2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 11, or 12, in manufacture of an agent for detecting cystatin B polypeptides in a sample by a method comprising contacting the sample with the one or more antibodies, under conditions suitable for formation of complexes of the cystatin B polypeptides and the one or more antibodies, and detecting the complexes of cystatin B polypeptides and the one or more antibodies.
