Abstract:
Household appliance (1) with a safety circuit, comprising at least one electrical load (L1-Ln) connected to a power mains supply, said at least one electrical load (L1-Ln) being provided with a ground connection branch (10), said household appliance (1) further comprising a safety circuit (20) provided with: a detection element (30) associated with said ground connection branch (10) and configured to detect a leakage current (I) flowing in said ground connection (10); a comparison module (40) configured to compare said leakage current (I) with a preset threshold. Said module of comparison (40) is further configured to disconnect said at least one electrical load (L1-Ln) from said power mains when the leakage current (I) turns out to be higher than said preset threshold.
Abstract:
Filter (F) for electric noise suppression, adapted for use in a household appliance (1), said filter (F) comprising: a first capacitor (C1) connectable across connection terminals (T1, T2) of said household appliance (1) and adapted to filter differential mode noise; a second capacitor (C2) and a third capacitor (C3), respectively connectable across a respective one of said connection terminals (T1, T2) and a ground node (N), said second and third capacitors (C2, C3) being adapted to filter common mode noise to ground; a common mode coil (B) comprising two windings (B1, B2) adapted to filter common mode noise; wherein said common mode coil (B) further comprises a detection winding (B3) configured for detecting a main parameter (MP) representative of a leakage current (I) flowing in a ground connection branch (10). It is also described a household appliance (1) which is equipped with said filter.
Abstract:
A drive circuit (100) for driving a household appliance from a stand-by condition to an operating condition, said circuit comprising: an input stage (110) for generating a main signal (MS) representative of a movement of an actuation/selection element (120) of a household appliance (1), said main signal (MS) having a different sign depending on a direction of movement (D1, D2) of said actuation/selection element (120); a first comparator stage (130) for detecting said main signal (MS) when the latter has a given sign and for outputting a corresponding first control signal (CS1); a second comparator stage (140) for detecting said main signal (MD) when the latter has a sign opposite to said given sign and for outputting a corresponding second control signal (CS2); an output stage (150) configured for generating, when it receives said first control signal (CS1) and/or said second control signal (CS2), a corresponding reactivation signal (RS) for driving said household appliance (1) from a stand-by condition to an operating condition.
