    Abstract: The semiconductor device has a first structured plane of conductive tracks (13) on a passive substrate and a second structured plane of conductive tracks (15) on the first plane. Contacts (19,20) are provided for selectively electrically connecting the two planes together. A fuse unit is provided in a non-passive section of the second conductive track plane, with defined fuse areas for selectively connecting conductive tracks. The fuse unit is divided into fuse modules (27) with pairs of fuses (21) with fuse areas at a predetermined distance from each other, connectable via a central conductive track (22) to a given potential.
