PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device having a high degree of safety for maintenance staffs by avoiding known problems on the device. SOLUTION: The elevator has a deflection roller 16 incorporated into a cage floor. A support driving means is guided on the cage floor through a floor channel. A cover 23 functioning as a protecting member covers the support driving means which runs into the deflection roller 16 and runs out of the deflection roller 16. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning apparatus for assuring safe going in and out of passengers in an elevator, by forming a multistage cage having each cage aligned with the level of each floor. SOLUTION: In the apparatus for accurately positioning respective cages 3, 4 of the multistage cage 2 for elevators, the cage threshold of respective cages 3, 4 can be positioned to the threshold level of each floor. For accurately positioning the respective cages 3, 4, a differential block and an adjusting device that operates on the principle of a pulley are provided. The device has an endless cable 32 that is guided on deflection rollers 25, 26, 30, 31 arranged on a main frame 5 of the multistage cage 2, and on deflection rollers 20, 23 arranged on the respective cages 3, 4, and respective cages 3, 4 perform perpendicular movement in opposite directions. The invention relates to a one-piece connecting element (8) that connects a first wall panel (5.1) to a second wall panel (5.2). A first spring element (8.3) is mounted on the upper part (8.2) of the connecting element (8) and on the one side of a first bent piece (5.11). A foot (8.1) of the connecting element (8) is used as a counter bearing and is mounted on the other side of the bent piece (5.11). A second spring element (8.4) is mounted on the upper part (8.2) and on the one side of a second bent piece (5.21). The other side of the second bent piece (5.21) presses onto the one side of the first bent piece (5.11). The connecting element (8) is introduced into a first slot (11) of the first bent piece (5.11) without tools, and the second bent piece (5.21) is placed over the connecting element (8) on a second slot (12).

The support structure comprises a grating arrangement including a plurality of intersecting profile members standing on edge. For local reinforcement, the support structure additionally includes a second grating arrangement superimposed on the first arrangement.

In the case of this multi-stage cage (2) equipment for fine positioning of the cages (3, 4) of a multi-stage cage (2) for a lift is provided, wherein the cage thresholds of the cages (3, 4) ace positionable at the level of the storey thresholds. Adjusting equipment operating on the principle of a differential block and pulley is provided for fine positioning of the cages (3, 4), the equipment comprising an endless cable (32) guided over deflecting rollers (25, 26, 30, 31) arranged at the main frame (5) of the multi-stage cage (2) and over deflecting rollers (20, 23) arranged at the cages (3, 4), wherein the cages (3, 4) execute vertical movements of opposite sense.
