SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition for the automatic dishwasher comprises (a) an enzyme, (b) 10-50 mass% of one or more water-soluble solvents selected from glycerol, ethylene glycol and propylene glycol, (c) 0.01-1 mass% of a water-soluble calcium salt, (d) 1-30 mass% of an alkanolamine compound and water. The pH at 25°C is 8.0-11.0 and the content of a surfactant is ≤10 mass%.
