Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing a powdery cosmetic having excellent color development and feeling compared with conventional powdery cosmetics produced by dry mixing or wet mixing method without using a complicate operation. SOLUTION: The method for producing a powdery cosmetic includes the mixing of a compounding raw material containing a powder component and a liquid component in a supercritical fluid and the removal of the fluid to obtain a powdery mixture. Also, the compounding raw material containing a powder component and a liquid component is mixed in a supercritical fluid; the fluid is removed and the obtained powdery mixture is formed in a forming pan. The supercritical fluid is preferably carbon dioxide. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic having excellent stability, imparting hair with oiliness and softness to form hair having smooth feeling and capable of applying good smoothness in and after the rinsing of the hair treated with the cosmetic formulated with a large amount of a higher alcohol. SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic contains a cationic surfactant, a higher alcohol having a 12-28C aliphatic hydrocarbon group and water. The content of the higher alcohol is 4.5-20 wt.%. In the dynamic viscoelastic measurement of the hair cosmetic comprising the application of periodical strain having a frequency of 2 Hz to the cosmetic while varying the strain amplitude from the initial strain of 0.2% to the final strain of 100%, the strain is 2-40% when the ratio (tanδ) of the storage modulus (G') to the loss modulus (G") is 1 and both of the storage modulus and the loss modulus are 25-250 Pa at the point.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for precisely executing a fluid analysis, in a short period of time, of a composite stirring tank having a high speed rotation stirrer and a low speed rotation stirrer. SOLUTION: An analysis method of a flow state of fluid in a composite stirring tank 1 having a high speed rotation stirrer (homo mixer 6) and a low speed rotation stirrer (rotation paddle 7) firstly applies steady analysis to a flow state caused by the driving of the high speed rotation stirrer 6, and secondly, by using the analysis result as boundary conditions, applies steady analysis to a flow state caused by the driving of the low speed rotation stirrer 7, and then, analyzes a flow state when driving the stirrers 6, 7 at the same time. PURPOSE:To enable economical production of the title compound having good color and smell through simple operations by reaction of an polyhydric alcohol with an alkyl glycidyl ether in the presence of a catalyst followed by neutralization, decolorization and deodorization treatments of the reaction mixture. CONSTITUTION:The reaction of a polyhydric alcohol such as pentaerythritol with an alkyl glycidyl ether such as isostearyl glycidyl ether is carried out in the presence of an acidic or basic catalyst such as sodium hydroxide in a solvent such as dimethyl sulfoxide, as they are heated at 105 deg.C for 4 hours. Then, a neutralizer such as acetic acid is added to the reaction mixture to give a mixed solution containing glyceryl-etherified polyhydric alcohol, which is subjected to decolorization treatment using an oxidizing agent such as 35% hydrogen peroxide and/or subjected to deodorizing treatment using steam, nitrogen or an inert gas whereby the objective glyceryl-etherified polyhydric alcohol of good hue and smell is economically and simply obtained.
