Abstract:
An intermittently laying method for intermittently forming laid layers ( 14 ) comprising a fluidized substance ( 13 ) laid thereon on a surface of a sheet-like member ( 12 ) moving in one direction, in the moving direction, the method comprising steps of: folding a part of the sheet-like member ( 12 ) corresponding to a non-laid portion ( 15 ) between adjacent laid portions inwardly towards a back surface side of the sheet-like member ( 12 ) on an upstream side of a coating head ( 16 ) for laying the fluidized substance ( 13 ) on the sheet-like member ( 12 ) thereby forming a continuous surface-to-be-laid ( 30 ) on a surface side; continuously supplying the fluidized substance ( 13 ) from the laying means to the surface-to-be-laid thereby forming the laid layer ( 14 ); bringing back the inwardly folded non-laid portion ( 15 ) so as to be flush with the surface-to-be-laid ( 30 ) on a downstream side of the coating head ( 16 ); and intermittently interposing the non-laid portion ( 15 ) between continuously laid adjacent laid layers ( 14 ).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a sheet-like washing product which can form a thin layer composed of a dough detergent composition in uniform thickness and width while maintaining excellent solubility in use. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a sheet-like washing product comprises continuously or discontinuously coating a dough detergent composition prepared so as to have a viscosity at a shear rate of 10 s-1 of 3,000 mPa.s to 300,000 mPa.s and, at the same time, a viscosity at a shear rate of 1,000 s-1 of 60 mPa.s to 20,000 mPa.s under the condition of a shear rate of 10 s-1 to 1,000 s-1 on a flexible belt-shaped support 14 in a continuous length which is continuously travelling in a predetermined direction by a specified coating means to form a thin layer of the above dough detergent composition.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a coated state free from unevenness in multilayer coating for a thin film magnetic recording medium and to improve the electromagnetic transducing characteristics of the medium. SOLUTION: When plural coating films are simultaneously or successively formed by coating by means of an extrusion die 10 to produce a magnetic recording medium, the difference in shearing stress at 1,80Osec shear rate between a coating material for the thinnest coating film contg. ferromagnetic powder having >=32m /g specific surface area and a coating material for a coating film adjacent to the thinnest coating film is regulated to and the thickness of each of upper and lower wet coating films is regulated to >=0.7μm.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize and improve the quality of the final product of a magnetic recording medium dispersed and added evenly with a hardener by opening the outflow port of a hardener supplying pipe in the central part of the coating material supplying pipe of an apparatus for producing the magnetic recording medium. SOLUTION: The apparatus 10 for producing the magnetic recording medium has an extrusion type coating applicator 11 and applies a magnetic layer on a continuously traveling base 1 by using a die head 12 of this coating applicator 11. An inline hardener addition system is adopted for the apparatus 10 for production. The hardener forcibly fed to the hardener supplying pipe 32 from a hardener tank 33 by a pump 31 is added inline to a magnetic coating material forcibly fed to the magnetic coating material supplying pipe 22 from a magnetic coating material tank 23 by a pump 21. After both are stirred and mixed by a mixer 41, the mixture is supplied to the die head 12 of the extrusion type coating applicator 11. The die head 12 continuously extrudes the magnetic coating material added the hardener and applies the magnetic coating material on the base 1, thereby forming the coating film uniform in the transverse direction of the base 1.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing a solid powdered cosmetic with impact strength and molding yield made compatible with each other.SOLUTION: The method for producing a solid powdered cosmetic comprises the following processes: a raw material powder 10' is filled in a molding recess 34 followed by pressing the powder 10' by an upper pestle 32; or the raw material powder 10' is set in a state of being filled in a molding recess 34 in between an upper pestle 32 and lower pestle 33 followed by pressing the powder 10' in between both of the pestles 32 and 33. In this method, the molding recess 34 is such that: the contour 34' of the inner wall 34a is of a polygonal shape when viewed from above, having three or more straight-line sides 22 and corners 23 each situated in between two sides 22 adjacent to each other. Specifically, the press molding operation is conducted under the condition: t>tin such a state that the upper pestle 32 and the raw material powder 10' are in contact with each other, wherein tis the gap between the upper pestle 32 and the inner wall 34a of the recess 34 at each of the corners 23, and tis the gap between the upper pestle 32 and the inner wall 34a of the recess 34 at each of the sides 22.
