    Abstract: The invention provides hair cosmetics which can suppress a frictional feeling of hair in running water during rinsing to improve softness and smoothness thereby preventing the hair from being damaged by twisting during rinsing, and comprises organopolysiloxane having an amino-modified organopolysiloxane chain and a polyoxyalkylene chain, and at least one cationic surfactant selected from compounds represented by formula (1) or (2): wherein at least one of R , R , R and R represents e.g. an alkyl group containing 8 to 35 carbon atoms in total, and the remainder represents a C1 to C5 alkyl group, hydroxyalkyl group etc., X represents a halogen ion or an organic anion, R represents e.g. an alkyl group containing 8 to 35 carbon atoms in total, and R represents a C1 to C22 alkyl group etc.

    Abstract: Hair cosmetic compsn. comprises a water-soluble polysaccharide with hydrophobic gps., which has a viscosity at 25 deg C and 30 rpm of 1-30 mPas, in the form of a 10 wt.% aq. ethanol compsn. comprising 2 wt.% of the polysaccharide. Pref. the viscosity is 1-15 mPas. The water-soluble polysaccharide with hydrophobic gps. is obtained by introducing a hydrophobic gp. into a polysaccharide, selected from guar gum, cellulose, pullulan, chitin, chitosan, carrageenan, xanthan gum and carob gum (esp. guar gum, hydroxyethylated cellulose, pullulan and carboxymethylated chitosan). The hydrophobic gp. is selected from 2-30C hydrocarbon gps. or gps. of formulae -(CH2)2N (CH3)2RX , -(CH2)3N (CH3)2RX , or -CH2CH(OH)CH2N (CH3)2RX where R=2-30C hydrocarbon gp. and X=halogen atom.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hairdressing method requiring no solidification of the hair, obtaining buoyant light unity, keeping finished hairstyle, and hairdressing again when the hairstyle is collapsed, and causing neither tackiness nor stiffness.
    SOLUTION: The hairdressing method comprises lifting the hair and spraying an aerosol hair cosmetic having adhesive force of 20 gf/cm
    2 or more as determined by the following measuring method to the inside of the lifted hair, wherein the aerosol hair cosmetic comprises (A) a hairdressing polymer and (B) a plasticizer. (Measuring method) An aerosol hair cosmetic is put in a round bottom flask and is decreased of its pressure to be 15-20 mmHg with a rotary evaporator at 60°C till the weight becomes constant so as to remove volatile components and to obtain the dry residue, and 10 mass% ethanol solution of the dry residue is prepared. On the condition of 25°C 65% RH, the solution is uniformly spread and coated on a PET sheet with a bar coater and dried at 40°C for 60 min to provide a test sample. Then, after keeping at 25°C 65% RH for 30 min, the cohesion of the dry residue is measured with a tacking tester, on the conditions of a polypropylene probe-side base (8 mm diameter), 120 mm/sec probe-approach velocity, 200 gf added pressure, 3 sec pressure-added time and 600 mm/sec probe-lifting velocity.
