Abstract:
A process for producing bulky paper comprising the steps of transferring a fiber web (2) having a water content of 50 to 85% by weight to a patterning zone having a perforated patterning net (31) revolving along a suction unit; patterning the fiber web (2) in conformity to the perforated patterning net (31) by sucking the fiber web (2) which is held on the perforated patterning net (31) while applying 5 kcal/kg or more of heat to the fiber web (2) in a heat application zone simultaneously with or before or after the sucking of the fiber web (2); and then drying the fiber web (2) in a drying zone to obtain patterned bulky paper (3).
Abstract:
A method for producing a pulp molded article (7) comprising the steps of supplying a pulp slurry into the cavity (1) of a mold (10) composed of a set of splits (3 and 4), the set of splits (3 and 4) being assembled together to form the cavity (1) with a prescribed configuration, to form a pulp deposited body (5), feeding a fluid into the cavity (1) to press the pulp deposited body (5) onto the inner wall of the cavity (1) for dewatering.
Abstract:
A method of making bulking paper, characterized by comprising: a pattern applying process which is provided with an open-hole pattern net (31) circuiting along a suction portion and which transfers a fiber sheet (2) containing 50 to 85 wt.% of moisture, sucks the fiber sheet (2) that is being kept held on the open-hole pattern net (31) with a calory of 5 kcal/kg given to the fiber sheet (2) by a calory giving unit simultaneously with or approximately simultaneously with the suction and applies a pattern corresponding to the open-hole pattern net (31) to the fiber sheet (2); and a drying process for drying the patterned sheet to thereby make patterned bulking paper (3).
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing pulp mold formed product (7), characterized by comprising the steps of filling pulp slurry into the cavity (1) of a formed mold (10) which comprises a set of split molds (3, 4) for paper and in which the cavity (1) of a specified shape is formed by the butting of the split molds (3, 4) against each other to form the pulp laminated body (5), and then pressing a pulp laminated body (5) against the inner surface of a cavity (1) for dehydration by feeding fluid into the cavity (1).
Abstract:
A formed body (10) formed mainly of pulp, comprising an opening part (11), a shell part (12), and a bottom part (13), characterized in that no joint part is present on the shell part, at least one diameter in the cross section of the shell part is made larger than that of the opening part on a vertical plane including that diameter, and the outer and inner surfaces of the bulb are formed smoothly.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain water-disintegrable paper that has wet strength to sufficiently stand wipe-cleaning operation and yet is soft. SOLUTION: The water-disintegrable paper is obtained by adding a water-soluble binder to a web comprising wood pulp and a regenerated cellulose fiber. The content of the wood pulp is 70-95 wt.% and that of the regenerated cellulose fiber is 5-30 wt.%. The regenerated cellulose fiber has 2-7mm fiber length and ≥0.1 dtex and

PURPOSE: A binder for a mold with excellent storage stability, comprising a specified furan resin and a K or Li salt of rosin. CONSTITUTION: A binder for a mold comprising 100pts.wt. furan resin selected from among furfuryl alcohol (precondensate) and/or precondensate between furfuryl alcohol and formaldehyde, and one of these and a urea/formaldehyde condensation or reaction product, and 5W50pts.wt. K or Li salt of rosin is, if necessary, compounded with 1W20wt% silane coupling agent or water. COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing bulky paper having a large thickness, high absorption, excellent softness, and moderate toughness. SOLUTION: This method for producing bulky paper 3 having a pattern formed thereon comprises transporting a fiber sheet 2 with a prescribed moisture content to a pattern-imparting step installed before a drying step and having a sucking part and a prescribed open hole pattern net 31 surrounding the sucking part, sucking the fiber sheet in a state put on the open hole pattern net to impart a pattern corresponding to the pattern of the open hole pattern net 31 to the sucked fiber sheet, and drying the pattern-imparted fiber sheet in a drying process to provide the objective bulky sheet having the pattern.
