Abstract:
A method for producing a polyphenol composition including a step of subjecting (A) a hardly water-soluble polyphenol and (B) one or more selected from cathechins, chlorogenic acids and methylated compounds of hardly water-soluble polyphenols to a heat treatment at from 100 to 180°C in the presence of an aqueous medium.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a pulp mold formed body, comprising the steps of feeding pulp slurry into a cavity (4) of a paper mold (1) having the cavity of a specified shape so as to form a main formed body (7) comprising a pulp mold formed body (7a) having an opening and a release part (7b) connected continuously to the end surface of the opening and having a flange (7c), inserting a core (8) into the main formed body (7), expanding the core (8) so as to press the main formed body (7) against a paper surface, taking out the main formed body (7) from the paper mold (1), and cutting the main formed body (7) at a connection part between the release part (7b) and pulp mold formed body (7a) of the main formed body (7).
Abstract:
A packaged beverage comprising: 0.05 to 0.5 wt.% of non-polymer catechins (A), 0.008 to 0.033 wt.% of sodium (B), and potassium (C), wherein the weight ratio of component (B) to component (C) and the pH value of the beverage fall within respective specified ranges.
Abstract:
A process for producing a partial glyceride which comprises effecting a glycerolysis reaction with the use of a fat lipase in the presence of water under such conditions as allowing the precipitation of a part of crystals in the reaction system in the course of the reaction and making the free fatty acid concentration in the oily phase 5 % by weight or more.
Abstract:
A packaged tea drink which contains the following components (A), (B) and (C) and in which the ratio of the content of the component (B) to the content of the component (C) falls within a specific range: (A) unpolymerized catechins 0.05 to 0.5% by weight; (B) magnesium; and (C) water-insoluble solid particles having a diameter of 0.2 to 0.8 mum. This tea drink contains the unpolymerized catechins at a high concentration, shows neither sedimentation nor precipitation even after prolonged storage and has a favorable body.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a preparation process of a tea extract containing non-polymer catechins extracted from tea leaves at a high extraction percentage, which comprises charging the tea leaves in a column type extractor and feeding the extractor with cold or hot water. The invention also relates to a packaged tea beverage containing the tea extract.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for preparing a partial glyceride, which includes, in a glycerolysis reaction of oil or fat making use of a lipase, conducting the reaction in the presence of water under conditions that crystals are partially precipitated in the reaction system in the course of the reaction and the concentration of free fatty acids in an oil phase amounts to at least 5% by weight.
Abstract:
A method of producing a pulp molded article comprising a papermaking step in which a pulp slurry is fed to the surface of a papermaking mold having suction paths, and water contained in the pulp slurry is sucked through the suction paths whereby the pulp is deposited on the surface to form a wet preform, and a dewatering step in which the wet preform is dewatered, wherein the temperature of the fed pulp slurry is raised while the pulp is being deposited on the surface.
